After the 93 attempts it took me to finally succeed on my PEN BS Awakening, this is a good change. There are definitely outliers out there, all my attempts were on at least 272 stack or higher; had a 99.8% chance of at least one success in my 92 fails. My griffon was even worse, took 123 attempts to finally PEN it-99.886% of one success in the 122 fails before the success.

This enhancement fix makes it much more enjoyable. Now every time I fail I won't feel like everything goes down the gutter... I will know that it will eventually happen.

this is a much needed change for sure, should have been in the game from the start

That karma change is ass i mean it give more reason to dont go -karma for normal players but for full time red player like me being red player is not a challange instead now days its just borring not everyone ready for pvp all the time so i miss arsha pvp i miss 1vX agaisnt geared good pvp players so i forced to farm my karma so i can pvp in arsha with this change go full red or just be normal player both seems super borring

Now its be blue or go red and stay red no inbetween. As a perma red I dont mind but the people only going red and right back to blue again definetly will.

I have failed on pen black star more than 70 times, so yeah, it's irritating, to put it lightly.

39 straight fails going for pen blackstar starting at a 250 stack is what made me quit. Little late for this change ;/ And I had a run of like 24 failed attempts going back to tet in there too. Cron stones are too expensive ^_^

I mean you could just go back and tap it since you are guaranteed pen now. Although I understand the months of frustration can't be erased.

Honestly this could've been unnecessary if they had reworked the failstacks system. Now this is a logarithmic curve and should be an exponential curve for enhancing. What I mean is that failstacks is what's supposed to make you guarantee eventually succeding enhancing and in the end the % gain per failstack is so criminally irrelevant for items that the system itself became pointless for what it was meant to be.

Am I understanding this correctly, it’s retroactive? Might as well wait out for a bit. Get more crons for now.

On non-Blackstar and non-fallen god items, yes. You would need to get it back to TRI still each time. Then after failing the tet attempt 12 times, you would have a guaranteed tet click on that item.

It's actually the most enjoyable it has ever been, people can actually start enjoying the end game and more varied stuff instead of locking yourself running around in circles at Gahaz for 2 pennies and a scroll like the ol' days.

Gunna say it again at this point PA should just split the servers into PvE only servers where you can't flag up at all and Arsha severs and remove Kama full stop instead of fucking around with this dumb halfway system that nobody likes.

3:00 yeah it literally removes uh.. the entire idk game progress system? getting pen everything IS the game, now you can cheese that why bother go play albion or something at this point

I believe it's due to some of the outliers as mentioned by Nottheworst themselves. I mean 275 FS Pen BS attempts should be on average 20~25 clicks and some unfortunate souls still failed to get it even at 40+ attempts.

i know someone who failed pen eye of the ruins for more than 100 times. The system is very welcome and all it does it just makes u actually progress instead of gate keeping players just cause they were not chosen by the game.
