Here we go. The perfect chance to fix time to kill and actually make the game good. Frankly the last chance they're going to get. There's no way this game will survive long enough for them to get to another rework of this size. If time to kill and desync aren't fixed after the dust settles, they never will be

With all these changes, (reducing hit counts) I really hope they look at PvE accuracy. If there is a way to get 100% hit rate at most 300-310 ap zones without needing accuracy accessories, perma accuracy add-on, every accuracy increasing house/trophy buff, etc. it would be amazing!

They also need to increase hp on hit for elixirs and skills, if they don't, there will be a massive lack of healing at grind spots.

I think at that point it just comes down to the class, because a lot of classes can get to 100% with no accuracy accessories or furniture. Just 2x elkarr or Jin viper, elixir/draught/food/vells and add ons. The only place this was really an issue was crypt but that was already changed months ago

Whoah. That’s wild. So if DR is one type of DR based on AP and DR checks and evasion is another type of DR based on accuracy and evasion checks, and the type 1 and type 2 DR are both equivalent, then the META is obviously an AP build with evasion armors, accuracy accessories and a DR heavy crystal build out. I don’t want to get into the weeds with the math, but if 1250 evasion is equal to 500 DR, then an evasion AP build with DR crystals will have the same defensive power as a meme evasion player or a meme DR player, while sporting 321 AP, where the meme evasion or meme DR player will only have 180 AP. The result will be that pen black stars + evasion dead gods + pen accuracy accessories will be the build that can kill every other build. It is currently 4 corners on a square where the corners are AP, accuracy, DR and evasion. The new system will make it into a pyramid, where the very center, a blend of all 4, will sit at the top of the pyramid above each of the 4 corners.

I think removing evasion completely will be an overall plus thing for all players. I also I wonder why debuff resistance isn’t on the game since there are other kind of resistance in the game.

I can't believe it i see the day the devs would trie to fix their servers and on top that they reworking DR.Now the only thing left to fix the random cc system and balance classes

aaaand crystal breaking nonsense damage caps forcing class meta in specific zones (trying to balance classes around it would only make things worse) damage caps forcing monster specific damage setup, acting more like big exploit than game mechanic dead grind spots, not even worth visiting with Tuvala gear useless items piling lowest price on market falling under the map bug (not related with ping, simply high mob density can push you under ground texture) transparency about drop rate brackets (some items drop increased dramatically above 300%) transparency about "cursed" accounts, having code seeds affecting specific activity success probability

Evasion no longer works like it should? Glad I don't play that game anymore lol

Glad we lost one player that depend on evasion to stay alive instead of knowing how to play..

@user-oh4dr4ir3l I didn't have enough evasion(less than 950) to make a difference. So, no I didn't rely on evasion. Also, I was killing players 40-50GS higher than me. Way to assume things you know nothing about. Lol

easy PA, just make evasion % reduce while cc, so it’s make cc have point.. when you lay on floor you are vulnerable to dmg

The "evasion" stat shouldn't even exist in an action combat game like BDO since evading means you totally evading and attack and take 0 dmg , now.. evasion is gonna work like DR should, reduce part of the DMG directly taken on yourself.. just a thought.

Well, I kind of agree. Evasion is healthy for combat. However, reaching such high evasion you become unkillable is not healthy. You cant make Evasion = DR because Evasion builds do less damage from DR Builds... so its tricky.
