Thanks for this thorough comparison. Your lighting was fine! I have experienced similar results, but unfortunately, the A side Chomas tool was discontinued in the summer of 2018 and the B side tool yields doesn't yield the same crisp results because you have to use the Cut setting.

What setting do you use when using the cricut engraving tool? Mine isn't going deep at all - it's barely scratching the surface :(

So, I can engrave metal with a cricut explore air 2 if I buy one of these attachments? I did not know that, will I be able to fully cut other metal materials and even wood on my explore air 2 if I buy one if these attachments?

I wish I would have seen your video before getting there maker I could have saved $200 😅 but thank you for your honesty do you mind me asking how many layers you added or if you added layers on design space before engraving?

I just put 2-4 layers of the graphic down and each time it just cuts a little deeper

I bought a engraving tip but it doesn’t reach all the way down to my metal. It makes the cutting motions but doesn’t cut nor touch my metal, please help
