First off, thanks so much for this video, providing exercises on how to answer questions as simple as ’how are you’. Although I'm not at a beginner level, I still struggle to have a small talk with native English speakers. Probably because in my future we don't usually greet each other like that. So I used to either give a detailed answer or just a textbook-type of reply - I'm fine, thank you. Enjoy watching your videos. Appreciate that.

Hi Emma, As you stressed, our tone of voice is a very important part of the communication. In our daily lives we have to show your excitements in our voice, otherwise people may misunderstand us. This could be the beginning of a new friendship, or it could be a debate or it could a job interview. We may think our conversation was perfect but feelings can only transfer by the dynamics of our voice tones. Maybe this is one of the important keys of our success in our lives.
