Second half performance was excellent. Hopefully Millie Turner and Grace Clinton get minutes in the final game on Tuesday. Beth Mead was really missed this last year, what a difference she makes.

It's a testament to the Lionesses' hunger that they didn't celebrate any of their goals and focused on getting more. Granted, we go into the final game with Olympic qualification out of our hands, but this fighting spirit is still great to see.

That ball from James to Toone was absolutely exquisite.

That goal from Lauren Hemp was absolute class.....

It was incredible to watch how Russo and Toone as super-subs just completely changed the pace of the game in the second half. I know they're both great players who deserve 90 minutes, but the way they can turn England's fortunes around, or give the team an enormous injection of energy, just can't be denied. They were England's not-so-secret weapon for a reason!

Stanway and Toone.. You English fans are so lucky to have players of that quality

Great come back. Mead is back and changed the match ., Toone and Rousso providing moments of brilliance again. But still with the World Cup problems. Defence rickety and error prone. And the coach persists in fielding her attack in portions of the whole. Its Hemp or Kelly on the wings but not both when they both are used to working together. Instead se get one or both on the wings with more often than not, no one in the centre to receive a cross in or help them attack... And we still have the the weird idea of keeping much of your top talent back on the bench to use near the end when all else has failed. Today shows what happens if you actually hit the opponent with 5 of your top attackers at once , and dont send one in alone, or make your defence weak by having your full backs charging forward too much. Given goal count reallybmattered, it was a bit late to augment the attack and sort out the defence when the opponent was already 2 goals up and there were only 45bminutescleft to score 4 goals.

I just love watching the girls, it is so much more enjoyable than watching the men,I don't know why, but they are a great team and you know they put a 100% effort into every game. Well done Lionesses. 👍⚽️👍

Same here, you don't see the time-wasting dissent towards the officials, which I find boring. I also prefer women's rugby (The Red Roses) but for different reasons.

The Refs had a mare! how on earth is that Hemp's effort on goal not a corner kick?? what a come back. although! the first half performance was dire, the Ladies did upped their game in the second half.... Kudos to the team! it's not over, until it's over.

Ref here - go easy on the officials re the corner that was not awarded. The camera angle was perfect, but that’s a tough call for both the ref and the lead AR. If anything, the trail AR (the one on the halfway line 50 yards away from the play), probably had the best view.
