My Skoda Octavia 2015 2Ltr diesel, while driving at low RPM sometimes the Glowplug light turns on ( not blinking- constant On). When this happens I can sometimes feel a single miss in cylinder firing followed by a power drop/ stallining or stopping of the engine. If I turn of the ignition key completely and start again the problem goes off. Got the scan doen but did not fing any error codes as when the vehicle was taken to th eworkshop the problem was not there. What could be the problem?

Hi Aman, my friend's VW polo 1.5 tdi shows the glow plug light blinking and the vehicle goes into SAFE mode. I unplugged the turbo pressure solenoid and the vehicle idles normally, otherwise its very difficult to crank it. When I check the voltage at the coupler it shows 2.33 volt. I would like to ask what is the correct voltage for the solenoid? I am confused if the solenoid is bad or its a voltage issue. If voltage issue then what should I do?

Make a full car scan once and check for the fault codes. 2nd use genuine parts it will not cause blunder in future. Ask the mechanic to use genuine parts for self motor.

I’ve just bought an obd scanner specifically for my 2012 Skoda Octavia because of same problem, glow plug warning light coming on - mechanic advised me the same thing, it’s not necessarily the plugs, could be a number of other issues. Question; I’ve never used a scanner before, would it be able to identify an issue with a dirty connector, or would it be fooled into reporting a problem with something else ?

Thanks aman bhai for your effort. l'm jinu from kerala . I have a rapid 1.5 TDI manual. I have problem with boost pressure solenoid valve. It always making noise like tik tik when the engine is running , even at idling. Turbo actuater is working and there is no warning lights. As the valve was making too much noise and becoming super hot, i replaced it with OEM part. But still the problem exist . Please suggest your comment.. Thanks

@@IAmanDhillon Thanks for your kind reply sir .. actually it is getting hot that will burn our hands.actually a technician got burnt from the service centre so they changed it... Checked with my friends rapid . Their solenoid is getting warm but not hot like mine. And at idling, if we hold it, we can feel that the solenoid inside is always making a to and fro movement. Anyway , planning to clean MAF and boost pressure sensors . As per the videos uploaded by you , the solenoid is connected with maf and pressure boost sensors ..

Bhai agr aiesa krne se baat bnti h toh tey krnq chahiye nhi toh next step sidha head gasket ka hoga jo ki bhut expensive hai.

Can you clearly show where to press to open that plug, seems that is important otherwise can't do anything. My car is getting started but the coil lamp and another light ( steering related I think ) on left side and ABS remains on. Is it okay to drive.

Boss, firstly I will suggest you to visit a mechanic soon, as in the video the fault was in the N75 valve in my case. But in your case the problem is with th ABS and may be with the steering rack as you mentioned earlier. If there would be any kind of problem in the car, coil light will start blinking instantly , in order to check it where is the faut you will have to perform a OBD scanning.

Hello Brothers, Question to all, my VW polo 1.2 TDI runs for 10-20 Kms after that first glow plug blinks after on and off for another 1 km no indication but then engine check light + heating/ glow plug keeps blinking for as long as I drive regardless of the distance. I do not see any drop in pick up but during first gear I can feel it struggles to move once pick up gained it keeps going without turbo lag or pick up drop, can anybody explain what can be the cause?

Bhai, My Skoda Laura 2 ltr TDI 2012 gets the glow plug alarm and engine light alarm. It blinks for 1 second and goes away. Car acceleration goes down. This is very random and usually (90%) comes when car has just started. Got the car scanned at Bosch service center but no code comes up. Can you suggest something.

Bro I cant be able to tell whar is the problem without knowing the fault code, but I will suggest you to purchase a scanner for your car, it will help you a lot, scan your car when the light flashes, send me the codes with no, then I will suggest u wht to do and how to do. Do no use aftermarket, Use original one. And check the wiring once may be the wires in the connectors are crack, causing short circuit.

Is it back compression? Remove the oil gauge when the engine is hot after driving around 20-30 kms that is it throwing oil outside.

Chetan bhai kisi b local mechanic k pass s3 krwa lo scanning. Jo fault code aye uski photo le kr bhrj dena mujhe. Mai apko bta dunga aahe kya krna chahiye. Local mechanic scanning k 300-400 rupee lega. Ikbar check krwa lo.

If you love your car and don't want to sell the car, it will stop one day on road while you're with your family and have to tow to nearest mechanic shop or showroom for service. It will be there for days, months and may take a year in that work shop, you will have to spend money like anything in that time and it will make you hate your car

Bhai Vento 1.6TDI 2013 model 2 problem hai 1. Gaadi chalne pe 110-120KM/HR speed pe chala tho speed sudden drop ho ra hai 80km/hr aur coil symbol aata hai. Gaadi restart kare tho teek hota hai . 2. Check engine light chalne time pe aara hai oil pump aur oil switch change kiya . Signal 2 baar aagaya gaadi bahar tha aur bahut gharmi that 34degree temperature tha vo time pe aaya 200 km chalaane ke baadh aur ek baar aaya kya Karna batao Bhai

Hi Aman, I was returning from long drive and suddenly pick dropped. Can't go above 50kmph. Glow plug light flashing and MIL came on. Got the error checked and says p020300 error. @@asadeep99 This Skoda and Volkswagen cars are really high maintenance cars bro. I had to replace all the 4 fuel injectors and in kolkata 2nd hand injector costs around 12k each, so totally I had to spend 50k approx to get my car back to normal. Finally I sold my car few days before. Really bad experience with Skoda.

bilkul ayegi agr filter boz ache se ga nhi h toh dirt MAF sensor mai jayegi jisse sare sensors ko reading glt jayegi, isliye air filter ko ache se lgao pehle fir 2-3 bar ignition on off kr ke car start krna agr fir b light aaye to scanning krvani pdegi.

Bhai kbhi secondary pump mai problem aa jaye uski wajah se bhi sign aata hai ye. Isme 2 pumps hote hai coolant k flow k liye 2nd pump niche radiator k just sath mai lga hota hai kbhi kbhi usme improper power supply ki wajh de bhi sign aata hai. Agr OBD tool hai to scan krlo nhi toh ik baar niche secondary coolant pump ka wiring plug nikal kr clean kr k dobara lga kr dekhlo. Hope this may solve!

Khdi gadi 2500 se upr nhi jaati . Chla kr check kro . Chlane k baad pickup check kro. Gaari puri pickup le rhi h jesi skoda ki hoti hai normally.?

Bhaiii Mere Polo me Glow plug or check engine ka sign aa rha hai .. Pick up problem hai.. Jab OBD SE scn kra too Turbocharger boost control sensor show hora.... or bhai ek question or hai. agr glow plug ka sign aarha to kya fr be hum Gadi Chlaa skty hai????

Bhai agr boost control pressure sensor ka fault hai toh boost control pressure sensor ki cleaning krva lo ya fir khud hi krlo, agr boost control solenoid valve ka aa rha hai to N75 valve change karna padega, jo mai is video mai khol raha hu use N75 valve kehte hain

Hanji gadi pickup shod degi boss. Agr jll gyi hai tu replace krvani hi padegi. heater light bhi blink kregi uske wajh se. Ku ki vo motor EGR mai coolant circulate krti hai. Aap kahan se ho?

Hi bro. My car also having same issue. Vw polo tdi 1.5 . glow plug blinking and abs warning light and also handbrake warning. These all warning light coming in same time.wht is the exact problem bro. ? plzz reply me fast.

Sir scan krvani pdegi apko car aiese mai kuch nhi keh skta, gadi mai bot sensor hote hain, abhi konse sensor mai problem a rhi hai vo toh scanner hi btayega aap scan krva lo aur mere ko fault code ki photo send kr dena mai aagr bta dunga aapko kya krna hai.

visit once brother for inspection. Possible cases are of turbo leakage. or contact on instagram once. IG: amandhillonvlogs

Sir mera vento diesel hai to usame same problem but kabhi kabhi o symbol cluster pe aata hai or apne aap chala jata hai..or speed ya pick up ka issue aata hai to kya karana chahiye..?

agr aap k pass scanner hai to I will prefer ki pehle scanning kijiye. agr nhi h toh manually diagnose krna pdega sbhi major parts ko. Main sensors ki wiring check kro ik baar. EGR sensor ki wiring jrur check krna ik baar.

In my polo when i switch on the key it's not coming, but after ingestion when I go above 2500RPM it's start to blink and after can even touch 100 kmph, what might be the issue please let me know

There may be multiple reasons for this, the ecm is not activating the turbo, there might be some problem in the sensors or may be in the wiring. If any of the sensor will stop working properly, ecm willl generate an error. I will suggest you to perform a scanning of your car. Once diagnosed send me the screenshot of the error codes then I will tell you what to do further.

There can be multiple reasons for the glow plug light once it flashes the turbo will not operate and you will not get that thump or thrust of power as before, so inspection is needed.
