This song was written in 1968 in Spanish by a cool cat named Sandro. Engelbert did a wonderful job at singing and interpreting the song to the English-speaking world, to which we are eternally grateful. I get to enjoy both versions - double happiness.

My grandmother was dead and the 2 of them ( my father and my grandfather )have been living alone. So since she got there, it was a real love at first sight!
