What a beautiful song and to hear Englebert sing is so special. I saw him in concert at The Hershey Arena in Hershey PA when I was a little girl. I grew up with some pretty amazing music in our house! I’m still traveling to see my favorite bands and musicians live all over the United States. Hopefully I’ll get to see Englebert live again someday.

My first love...to be remembered till my last breath...this song really makes my heart sink!

When I was 23 my marriage was on the rocks, sometimes physical abuse, I met a man and fell in love but nothing happened as we both married. We both got divorced at the same time without knowing in different cities. We stated to look for each other but either he was in a relationship or I was although we both never remarried. Yeas went by and we both alone in different countries. He probably dates woman 1/2 my age. I will never forget him. We were in our early 20 now we are in our 60ties! 😢
