That is the most satisfying and disappointing scene from me from this drama. Satisfying because he confess his feeling which truly and deeply on how he feels to deok sunah~~~ but at the same time disappointing because he make his confession to deok sunah as if his just joking. Actually I'm 100% that if he didnt take back his confession their will be 100% chances that they will become couple. Well I'm not saying that I'm disappointed that deok sunahhh~~~ and taek become couple. But I'm just frustrated because I want jung hwan and Deok sunahhhh~~~ to be the couple for this drama. 😅😅😅

Its so sad that even If he didn't take back his confession, she still wouldn't accept him bcz in that scenes, before and after his confession, she doesnt pay attention of anything, even his confession, and keeps looking at the door to wait for Taek coming. Time past, she grew up and doesn't fall in love with whoever has feeling for fer first but already listened to herself and knows the answer for Deonryong's question back then "don't look for someone who likes you. Ask yourself who you like"

This kdrama really crushed my heart especially when they leave the ssangmundo compound, the atmosphere, the environment, the character attached me so much..even though the place sounds monotonous, they attacked the heart of some viewers including me by slowly attaching the scenario and events to your heart and it suddenly pricked your heart at the last episode..the drama is simple, no antagonists, no complicated scenario...they just show what it is..kudos to the casts...i missed you! And kudos also to staff, writers and directors...you are all brilliant!

I’m crying. I don’t think I could move on from this drama. I love everything about this. I still remember the most painful confession but still so happy to know that Deok Sun ended up with someone like Taek. They deserve each other so much.

I just finished watching the series, yet here I am watching random clips of Reply 1988. I think I will never be able to move on from this show. Just listening to their songs I can't help but be emotional and recall the pain and joy from the story. I'm in love with this drama, forever.

It's really really sad that Jung Hwan did not get the love of his life. But, if you guys still remember, towards the end Jung Hwan acknowledged that his hesitation is the reason why he didn't get Deok Sun 😭 because how many times that he had the chance but he just didn't use that. The one where he tried to beat all the red lights breaking my heart every time I watch this drama. Like, only now you want to confess when you have Deok Sun all the time before your eyes patiently waiting for you 😭

We're here coz we can't move on!!! This drama 😞🥺

Ryu jun yeol oppa is my ideal type all because of this drama.. that charming man killed me.. I love Hyeri×JunYeol couple.. I'm so happy for 'em..

Reply 1988 is one of the great dramas that talks about family and friendship. Discusses the different situations a family goes through a problem and how they work together in situations with their neighbor. this is the only drama I saw without a villain.

This is my favorite drama. Even my mom and my sister converted to the korean dramas world ater watching Reply 1988. And the ost also melt my heart, but i love this song especifically.

i will never get sick of it even there's a lot of kdramas nowadays. :(

I found this show really slow at first but once i got into it i loved it..great cast, such a simple yet moving storyline i feel like i lived there with them.

This performance wahhh so special! The gang holding hands and swaying. Too precious. And as for that irl official couple...talk about a unintentional romantic atmosphere at that moment. The fan cam of those 2 looking like they were in their own world swaying closely shoulder to shoulder and even stealing glances at each other at times and who can forget what came after...did Lee 'Manse' Moonse have a 6th sense?...that he told Junyeol that he should have joined him on stage, singing and propose to her right there since he didn't get to in the drama. It was like take advantage now! 🤭🤯 Cue a flustered Junyeol.😳 Here's hoping someday...he takes the advice!😚 🙏💗

I did. But junhwan said was true, that taek deserves her more because taek fought for her even gave up his tournament just to be with her. Junhwan has lots of hesitations, he was given lots/years of chances by taek.

well, it's impossible, i guess. the story has wrapped up nicely. sometimes, it's better for a story to just only have one part. the actor who played adult taek passed away on 2017 due to car accident. may he rest in peace and love.
