But i can't bring myself to watch this again... because it's too good and i have always craved for such friendship and playful childhood that I never had. And it makes me sad how duk seon always waited for Jung hwan to confess even when it happened it was laughed off by saying it's a joke. I felt bad for both of them. I cried a lot.

Seriously Reply 1988 is the best drama I've ever watched❤️ This drama is a complete package. Not only depicting love but also family hood and friendship.

The amount of relatability this show portrays is insane! I think most asians can connect to this. The younger sibling always getting bullied, the way every house in the neighbourhood was considered family, eating at each other's house, and so much more. It was so refreshing amidst the regular romcoms. PS: I am and will always be a Deok Sun and Jung Hwan shipper. Petition for an alternate ending!!!

This will always be the number 1 kdrama for me. It is very realistic. The actors don't even look like they're acting. I super love this kdrama.

I loved that this show involved the parents so much. It really showed a broader perspective of their lifes. I noticed in this kdrama there is a lot more affection and skinship (hugging their family or friends) in it than other shows between parent and child. That really makes it stand out from the other Kdrama's to me. Because somehow I always miss that kind of affection in a lot of shows. It also really shows that no matter how old you are as a parent, they also have their own struggles, miss their own parents, etc. They're more than just a 'parent'.

I have never found anything as wholesome as Reply 1988

Finished it today.. and still not able to get over jung hwan end up with no one 🥲... The most heartbreaking moment was when he makes his whole confession into a joke the moment he realised she moved on 🥲

Deoksun's father is so underrated

To me, the best k drama ever made. Hands down.

Best slice of life drama i've ever seen since 20years being fan of kdrama. Even if i'm not living in korea and born in different era with them (1992) but i feel them so much hahaha

7:20 for me, is the absolute funniest moment in this drama. Sometimes it just comes to mind randomly and I can’t stop laughing. This drama is epic. Simply epic. It stays with you in such a beautiful way. Deok Sun is my most favorite kdrama character ever. I love the way the romance blossomed in this drama. You don’t really see it coming but when you rewatch it it makes sense. Man I LOVE this drama!

That alcohol is from China and very expensive. It is still manufactured as shown. Best year can be ~ 200k dollars for one bottle

Just finished watching this masterpiece…,one of d bestest of d best k drama ever watched♥️♥️

This Drama perfectly portrayed how a family and a society should be. It delivered our asian day to day life so well to audiences. I had a roller coster ride of emotions watching this Drama, and on the way it taught me a lot as well. Absolutely my favorite Drama of all time and I won't give a second thought. P.S-I'm forever grateful that I came across such a great Storyline Drama and great actors.❤

Best series there ever was. I doubt I will ever find anything as good ever again. I both laughed and cried every episode. Love this show so much!

I just miss my friends... I really miss them...if only I can get them back in my life.....we all can sit and talk to eachother 😭 like we used to 😭😭.

Ive seen reply 1988 for 5x already, kinda sad when netflix removed it. When i feel down and depress this is one of my favorite tv shows.. I think this is my "friends" in asia. But the difference of this tv show, the whole family is involved. The parents are hilarious 😂 than the kids. And im dreaming to have this kind of people around me, not blood related, but they treat each other like one. Theres one scene, that i love, when they thought theres a "thief" in the neighborhood... And the princple dad is also doing partime tutorials. The best tv series for me.

This kdrama is tue best😂😂 It doesn't exhibit too much much romance but hilarious ASF. Just a peaceful society and group if friends exploring their youth
