My favorite episode till now. The acting is so on point, Ru Lan made me cry and Shen Mu was so powerful 👌🏽👌🏽

Actually what happened with her is reality.. powerful political ppl are like this. But sadly in reality there is no Shen Mu to save the day. No one is so selfless to help anyone. She should have listened to her friend and slowly but steadily destroy that beast... they should be punished like the death even feel like relief.

Yes but the drama is showing that the idea of “Justice” existing is a fraud. Rulang said she didn’t believe that there isn’t justice. Now she is finding out that the society is built to protect predators. Only carefully calculated revenge can work if at all.

Many victims stay silent and don't report just because of this kind of judgement and the injustice of the system that is supposedly there to protect us. I'm glad Ru Lan didn't back down or take Meng Wan's advice...it's important to be brave enough to voice it out.
