I have this light and use it for close-in work while doing repairs around the home, e.g., under the sink, replacing light switches, etc. Thanks for the video.
Looks perfect for attaching to the left strap of a backpack. I think this would work well for backpacking. I'll have to get one to keep on my pack. Thanks for the review!
Great Video ! I just got a very vintage 2-d energizer hard case at a thrift store for $2.00 thats probably from the late 80's and it works . The design of the reflector combined with the quality of the build is very impressive and produces a very nice spot at a resonable distance using a krypton bulb . I can't believe I got the thing for only $2.00 !!!
I own several from the same line of lights. Need to try that 1 out.
Love the design and practicality for a small cheap torch. Definitely in the Blue rang
I dig it. Love the drop rating. You probably already know that if it uses a AA battery, it can also use a AAA. If the spring doesn’t make contact, a small ball of tin foil will do the trick

I’ve heard that, but I’ve never actually tried it. I’ll have to do that one of these days!
Nice Video!! Thanks for the video. I also have the same flashlight and is a small little beast!!!! It is absolutely indestructible, and waterproof. It gives a lot of light for its size. I spent 11 euros on it, and it always comes with me when i go hiking.
What an absolutely stellar little flashlight Sean, thanks for sharing it with us 👊🏻🤓👍🏻

You bet! Thanks so much for watching Paul! All the best my friend.
This is my favourite flashlight by far. I stopped upgrading flashlights once I got this one. I have a few of them. I love the two magnets on the clip. It's on the fridge when no in use. 🧲 🔦. Clipping it on my belt, on occasion, it pretty cool too. I like how its got a bit of rubber on it.
I have this flashlight, its so useful. I always attach it to whatever backpack or sling bag I take out with me.
What a great little gem! Nice find Sean. Im going to pick one up!

i saw this in the store and it looks pretty cool too
Can you change the lumen in the head of the flashlight
bought 2 this morning. almost wish the blue harbor freight lights they give away for free would have a clip.
So I looked on Amazon after watching this and it is listed on there right now for $11.99 with a $1 coupon! Idk if it's the same model as yours but at that price it seems like a great deal! Great review as always! I like how you review different items that most don't

Thanks so much for watching Derek! So I filmed this video about 10 days ago, and after I posted it I checked on Amazon and saw that the price had gone down! I bought another one, lol. Thanks for the kind worlds and thanks again for watching.
Interesting light. 15 bucks is hard to beat. It seems like a good around the house type of light. Lights up a room pretty well. Good for power outages usually prefer lanterns then and definitely going to get you from point A to point B in your house. Thanks for showing this option.

Thanks for watching Rick! The price had actually gone down since I filmed the video. Now they’re going for $11.99!
My kinda light simple inexpensive and tough would be a great light for the tool box or the glove box and for the price can't go wrong another awesome review 👍

Thanks for watching Jeremy!
I had the 2xAA hardcase and it's tough. Only problem is the annoying PWM on low so I bought a different light.
Cool!
There is a magic balance of run time on all these new lights. I have the same Olight, and it's great, but it's pretty pale on it's low setting, and it only runs 20 minutes on high. So for Energizer's to be set somewhere in between those output strengths and run 6 hours, that to me is useful in a car, boat, tent or tool box. I will still carry the smaller Olight or similar Streamlight, but I see this one you have today as being a good companion light. I wish the base itself was magnetic though.

Thanks for watching JP! I agree, it’s always a trade off between output and runtime. Although this isn’t powerful by most people’s standards it’s perfectly practical for general utility tasks like you said. It would be cool if the base was magnetic. I did also notice that the price had dropped on Amazon to $11.99.
Thanks for video i just got on Amazon ripp off$10.99 +599shipping wish you took outside so we could see how far shine
Cool looking Lil flashlight it is nice to just drop a battery in and not be worried about recharging. Appreciate the info !!!! ✌️ Oh had a sweet Lil mail call yesterday 👌

Check out the Manker E02. It's a AAA angle light with 220lm max output. About the size of a AA battery

I'm not a fan of flashlights with a gazillion modes, but I think this little guy would greatly benefit from 2 modes - the actual 75 lumen mode and an economical, 8-10 lumen mode, which would be enough for a dark room and would provide a much better runtime, making it very useful in an emergency, power outage situation etc.
@GearedTowardGear1

I would agree with you 100%. A 5 lumen mode would be excellent! Thanks for watching!
This little light is sick man. I got it with some rechargeables for my pack. Thanks for the good content

Great review! Is ipx4 rain proof?
@GearedTowardGear1
4 жыл бұрын
Yeah, it basically is. Technically it’s defined as something like “resistant to water splashes from any direction.” - it might not do well outside in pouring rain for hours on end, but I’ve gotten this thing wet plenty of times and it’s done just fine. Thanks for watching!
I wish someone made an LED replacement for it so we could get it just a little brighter
Hello Sean. I have had a few energizer lights and broke them all. Either the plastic case split or they just stopped working. This new casing looks more solid and i do like simple lights. I will try this one when i see it in a shop. On Amazon it is the same price here as there for once. All the best.

Russian. извини что на русском. скажи пожалуйста на сколько ты думаешь у него надёжная кнопка . просто я из своей практики ещё не видел надёжной кнопки у фонарика этой фирмы.
Russian. извини что на русском. скажи пожалуйста как тебе его кнопка мне кажется что она не надёжная. и что странно что у нас эта модель всего 70 люмен и время работы 9 часов. дело в том что у нас он стоит минимум 43$
Russian. у нас такой фонарик продаётся от 50$ минимум и ещё нужно найти его в продаже
great review, not so great flashlight.. ipx4 for such a rugged body is lame. the deal-breaker is the fact is the lack of magnets on the tail. from time to time i buy cheaper flashlight gor fun. sometimes those lights are really good. for a AA flashlight i stay with Olight S1A Baton.
Wow amazing Energizer Flashlight reviews!!! :D And Hit Like button!!! :D

Actually from this video it doesnt look very cool. Looks like a nice neutral white maybe 5000-5500k without any ugly green or blue tint.
