I bought this game after watching you first play through. Here are a few of my observations, use them or ignore them as you will. Lake maps are better than river maps as they concentrate game drinking areas. Additionally, if your fortress abuts the lake it limits the areas you can be attacked from. Clear cutting forests seems to have the effect of making game in that area scarce. It's way better to have 1 guy in 5 work areas than 5 guys in 1 work area. Shrink the work areas to focus their attention more. You don't have to research every tech in a level before you advance to the next level. Some of the techs are basically useless.The only animals worth having are sheep, donkeys, and dogs. Platforms are better than towers, towers require routine maintenance. Platforms and towers can be disabled, turn them all off until the raiders attack. Then when you sound the horn you can turn on only the platforms and towers you want your Raptorians to man. 3 layers of palisades takes more damage than 1 layer of stone walls, trees grow back while stone is a finite resource. Build 10 stone storage areas, set stone to infinity and set one person to collecting it right from the beginning. Pulses are more important than grains until the iron age.In normal mode the AI is limited to your current level of tech, this means you can stockpile your knowledge until you can storm through multiple ages in a single move and gain a huge advantage , this doesn't hold true on hard level as the AI is free to advance at their own pace. Shear genius ...LMAO....and I noticed you are out of food and your population is way down, you may be past the tipping point on your current play through... Happy Gaming.

Wondering if AI would defend better if you had one village behind one huge wall. It seems like your villages spread between villages when you blow the horn and that screwed you the first 2 attempts. Once you manually moved them all it was easy.

If you Join your Villages together it might make it easier to Defend as they wont go running willy-nilly to there area. Just the One instead

You don't need em! -You made a great point that the AI often only goes to like 3 places. Focus on making them kill zones. -you could probably fit any remaining buildings you need up on the Hill of Raptorian Monoliths. Make it an industry area, it's cool to see Raptorians milling around your great works! Love the content!!

OOF...those steel weapons are a beast...seems like many in your camp are kids and unable to work, start upgrading houses one or two at a time...seems your people are tired all the time due to low house maintenance...remember to put up more hay stacks near the farms... You survived to fight another day...sure it took a few tries..but sometimes the AI is stoopid...LOL Keep em coming!

I do a tower in front and platform behind the tower/s. Platforms are not safe for range units when in front. They are vulnerable to get hit while defenders from towers can’t be hit when behind the walls. But to do this is a bit tricky. You have to build 2 rows of walls then build the platform/s. Then delete the/some of the 2nd layer wall and build a tower. Platforms can only be built behind walls but if you delete the wall which the platforms lean from the platforms remain standing and can even be upgraded.

If I remember correctly what you said was you didn't want to upgrade because you knew that it was going to be in Steel that's why you held back on upgrading your village but I enjoy watching it being a month ago or five days ago it still cool keep it up and I like the sound effects of those people who want to cry and complain just tell him you do it for me I appreciate it thanks Raptor and I look forward to the next episode.

Glory To Raptoria! Aim for 100% workload during peak harvest when you aren't building anything - makes the game go faster brother *Edit: Workload will not just resolve itself, it's too high because you lined up too many tasks, you have mines being worked a mile away

I found that by domesticating a few pigs and forgetting about them after making like 5 stables really helps.. noticed I ran out of room and I had 69 pigs and they kept multiplying like rabits

You have too many houses for your population. Those buildings need repair and increase your workload. You can't get most things done in winter. And you need spring and fall for farming and such(one of the most needed resources is straw. Also, try planting only barley and few flax). Also, remove the watchtowers near the walls close to area between the cities. And maybe increase your animal limits to 40 for each animal

You need extra houses for more population, if you have only houses for the tribe people, only way to get population up is having births, and then people be homeless, it tells you in the game about that.

For me i keep the animals sheep and cattle unlimited and 10 for goats/pigs for extra food, and donkeys and horses 15 each..

@@AcornSmokes420 Count the number of houses he has right now. It's way more than you need. If you have 65 pop, have houses till 80/85 max. There's no point having houses for 120 people as it will actually cost you much more than just a few repair materials. Those repair works stack up and increase the workload crazy high. You can't get most things done in winter. And if those repairs come around spring/fall, you'll end up not farming enough resources through farms. Then the animals die and keep dying for the most part. And then you start running low on food. Then in turn your pop decreases and then it goes downhill. The best thing to do is actually to recycle the extra houses and buildings. Trust me it makes tons of difference

@@AcornSmokes420 That's actually okay....the number of animals is actually a personal choice. The only thing is sometimes diseases and blizzards can hit hard and cause most of the animals to die. Then you will have to catch a few again which again, is really tiring to humans and for some wierd reason, the game mostly tries to send elderly humans to catch new animals who tend to die more due to starvation and dehydration.....

Upgrade all wooden walls to double stone walls. Earn enough points for steel production. Upgrade all gates to stone or iron Make iron weapons, and steel weapons. and Turn those townies into slaves lol ( Work their butts hard as hell )

I will have to remember not to move up as fast in my game. I think that is why things got so difficult. You had some food issues you never fixed before moving up. Good job on that attack.

Range defenders are still better than melee. If you need some knowledge points in Ancient Warriors, you can also have from making wooden spears and harpoons as well as biface and some bone tools.

Weren't you at 100 persons in the previous episode? Did you lose 30 at the beginning? Probably should not have gone to iron age. Work load too high. Not enough good weapons and population too low. What happened to the 100?

Remember you can disable towers that are far from the area of battle. The same as the platforms, they can be disabled too.
