Because it used to be you could afford both easily. A very abundant economy where you could achieve your dreams with enough effort that wasn't unreasonable. In contrast its much better than what people in Britain and Canada have now. Universal healthcare and the NHS is a black hole they will never pay off and the lines become longer and longer.

@@summer7603 the cost of insulin has 0 to do with the economy or what it actually cost to make. It's something people will literally die without, so they can charge as much as they want. They profit billions a year off insulin alone.

@@bidentrump1179 actually it does have everything to do with the cost of insulin and all things people need. A great economy and a thriving middle class has been historically the best outcome for the overwhelming majority of people. I think its been years since people stopped and thought about the percieved choices ideologues have created to further their agenda. The end result is thus far. even less peole can afford it now because nobody earns enough and the system they put it place completely collapsed.

"Administer the insulin shot" as a type 1 diabetic myself I can confirm that insulin is not dosed 'orally'. Cassie had a very low bloodsugar and took glucose to get her levels back up to a safe range again. If she had received an insulin shot at this stage it could have killed her. :/ Please watch what you say about medical illmesses - there is already so much misinformation about type 1 diabetes on the internet :o

I think you also have to notify an authorized marriage celebrant of the marriage at least a month before, I don't think you can just do it anytime you want. I thought there would be more to it, like having to be in a relationship for at least 12 months or something. Similar to being able to get a divorce, you have to be separated for at least 12 months and not living together in that time to be able to. But it only seems to say you have to notify a celebrant.

Cool movie. I’d go watch the full movie, but it’ll just make me sad and cry. Not cuz of the whole love story bullshit, but because of the reminder that I’ll never have this, I’ll never be loved, because I have autism. Hence I can’t socialize, I haven’t had a friend in over 14 years, and I’ve never been in a relationship before, well not a full on one at least and it was only once. The pain it causes. I’d rather just suicide tbh, it’s not worth it to live your whole life alone.

You never know. I haven't had a real relationship in like 10 years either. Just a fling or two. I only have 1 real friend besides my immediate family. My little nephew is a joy though. There's always something to live for, even if most things suck. Plus, imagine the hurt you'll cause your family. And life has an odd way of throwing you a bone from time to time. Who knows what the next 10 years hold. Even if there's only a small chance everything works out ideally, it's still probably worth sticking around to toss the dice. You only get this one life and then you're rendered into non existence again. Just like before you were born. And even if you're doomed to a torturous life, that's only by modern standards. Just imagine how many humans existed and died of any number of things throughout history with much tougher lives. Who would have given anything for just another day. There's no happiness without sadness, unfortunately. I say you should tough it out. Life sucks. But all in all, we've got it pretty good. Life is too fleeting to give it up over loneliness. Find yourself a hobby, and go join a club or something. There's a group/club for literally anything you can think of. Go to church, even if you're an atheist. Give yourself a sense of community. Go to an AA or NA meeting if you have those issues. I'm sure there's groups of people with autism that you can socialize with. The hardest is just getting up and going to do it. What's that Shia LaBeouf thing? JUST DO IT!

I was just recently diagnosed with autism and I get it, relationships are hard. Two of close childhood friends recently cut ties with me, claiming we’d “grown apart”. But ended my friendship with them allowed me to become closer to other people. I’ve never had a real relationship either, except for one a few years ago that lasted about a month. Recently came to the conclusion I was asexual (maybe demisexual, but hetero-romantic), so it’s really hard to find any guy who would want to be in a relationship with me anyway. I’m 29 and terrified of being alone for the rest of my life. But I keep going because I can’t end things. Partially because I’m a bit of a coward and too scared too, but also because I can’t do that to my parents, my pets, and the remaining people in my life I do have. And because I keep telling myself that I still have potential and I still matter. Keep fighting because no matter what you think, I promise you that you do matter. 💛

@@jonny-b4954 I’m 25. Closest I’ve had to a relationship was this no strings attached thing I had with this middle aged lady. All except one of my friends is online, and it’s that middle aged lady, she’s kinda become a motherly person to me, filling in that void I’ve lost since my mom died. But she lives 3 hours away so I don’t see her often. The older I get, the more time passes, the more hopeless things feel. It’s just starting to feel like it would make more sense just to kill myself, like if I’m gonna die wouldn’t it make more sense to get it out of the way early then have to watch my family pass only to be all alone in the world? If I don’t have someone by the end of the year I’ll probably be dead, a life of loneliness isn’t a life worth living. It’s such a big part of life and I don’t wanna live a life without it.

Nice story 👌BTW in my country there are lot of such stories wherein two strangers are married and Love happens after marriage. We call it arranged marriages in Indian Society wherein the husband & wife embrace each other's imperfections & adjust mutually and start loving each other. Mine is an arranged marriage and it's been 14 years with my loving wife now. We have seen good bad & the Ugly times together but we love each other so much that we can't live without each other💞 A married couple must fulfill one mandatory requirement called Mutual Respect & Care to sustain whole life. And most Arranged marriages fulfill this requirement as two people start their journey from scratch ❤️👍

Beautiful. Someone had to say this. Although there are few forced marriages under this but Indian marriages were largely based on choice. Majority. Some people see this werid but it is not. People are asked about their choice before and during the selection for their arranged marriages. And yes, I am a big supporter of it. Love marriage and arranged marriage both can soar or fall depending on the couples. It's time people stop blaming arrange marriages or marriages in general, It's such a beautiful thing😭

One of the "icons" of American society.. "I work three jobs"!!? So you work 3 jobs for 8 hours a day, which means you work 24 hours a day!? If you work one job for 8 hours a day, you will be paid more than enough to live and start a family. If you work three jobs for a couple of hours each day, don't expect to earn enough to survive...

As a person struggling with the guilt of telling people much, I just felt how wrong it was for look the tell that man about how he will get the money to him just thinking it will fetch him more time and not telling the girl why and at the same time considering what could have happened if he didn't about how
