I am having so much trouble making the standalone version work on my 2023 Mac Mini either standalone or in garage band, that I just want a refund. this is awful

This is exactly what I needed to know! You didn't used to have to activate Virtual MIDI on MIDIGuitar2 to send to a sampler, right? What changed? #NarchoBlaster says THANKS!

A lot of users wanted to adress different standalone synths in differnet patches, hence we moved the midi output to patch level.

your looking here at the iOS version which is different from the full desktop version fro macos/windows. the full version has midi output option in the interface section. But windows standard has no virtual midi ports, only output to midi hardware will be visible, unless you install loopMIDI , a virtual midi port driver for windows.

@@cirezetroc There is a MIX knob in our app, if you still hear guitar when it is on max synth, then your audio interface has a "direct monitoring" level knob. Please see your audio interface help for that.
