MIDI Guitar 3 DAW Guides - Setting up with Logic Pro

The DAW guide series is meant to give you a first way of setting up, with either the AU plugin or the VST plugin, or both for those DAWs that allow for multiple formats.
As MIDI Guitar 3 is an MPE controller, these guides are set up with MPE instruments for all examples. This might be worth noting for anyone setting up with legacy MIDI 1.0 instruments since pitch bend range and other settings might need to be addressed in the latter case.

I'm assuming in the first technique if I hit record on audio One It will record a clean guitar DI And the midi on track 2 at the same time Uh this would be my use case scenario Uh some wanting to make sure that that's possible even though it seems blatantly obvious that it is that way

Yes, it will record your clean guitar to the AUDIO 1 channel, and you can of course use the recorded audo to record another MIDI/virtual instrument track later on as well. 👍
Hej Den gitarr du använder är det en midi gitarr om så är den bättrre än en vanlig elgitarr att använda till Midi Guitar 3?

It works with any kind of guitar. Solid body electric guitars are generally best.
