I am surprised that all of the Jobe test videos don't specify that this can diagnose tendonitis or tears as you do here. Every other video I've watched says that it diagnoses tears. No mention of tendonitis.

The test stresses the supraspinatus so if it is inflamed, it will hurt. Tears will present with more weakness
