    First confirm it has been deducted from gross or CTC, if deducted from CTC then it's ok if deducting from your gross salary then you need to ask your employer that it is not legal and file grievance to EPFO if he doesn't agree.

    Sir mera bf 1800 cut ho rha tha means 12% of basic salary.to basic salary 15k hui.but gratuity calculation me basic salary 8000 se kr rhi h.kya kru sir? Plz reply

    Gratuity must be calculate on basic as per formula Gratuity = (Number of years of service) x (Last drawn basic salary) x (15/26), you need to have conversation with your company HR

    Please reply: My fixed salary is 9L In 9L they mentioned employer contribution 12% 12+12 is deducting from my fixed salary what to do i asked my HR she said it's like that only.. Where should i compain & how CTC is 13L Fixed is 9L From 9 they are deducting employer+employee contribution total (25%)

    Sir, if your gross salary is 9 lakh and ctc is 12 lakh per annum then pf contribution of employee only is Permissible to deduct from gross salary. You are requested to first carefully analyse your CTC before taking any step.

    Sir, First confirm it has been deducted from gross or CTC, if deducted from CTC then it's ok if deducting from your gross salary then you need to ask your employer that it is not legal and file grievance to EPFO if he doesn't agree.

    If there is no old unsettled PF account of you is available on record then you may be booked as excluded employee if your salary is basic+other allowances are above 15000/-

    basic and special allowance is your salary part and esi, pf and labour fund you mentioned here sis part of employer jo wo aapko salary ke alawa dega, halanki pf, esi and lwf ka ek share aapki salary se bhi kata jayega

    Ask employer not to do this practise, sometime HR has lack of knowledge about deduction and if they deny then file grievance to EPFO and Labour Dept.
