Great Video.. Thanks a lot for the simple explanation.
Guys! Thank you so much for this videos! They`re helping me so much I can`t even say
Good explainer video. 0.05 x 1000 is 50 :P Simple way of multiplying anything by 10 and multiples of 10 - just move the decimal point by the number of zeroes. So, 5 (5.0) x 10 would be 50 (50.0); 5 x 100 would be 500 (you've moved the decimal point to the right). So, move the decimal point to the left when dividing by 10 and multiples of 10.
Very well explained.
good one, but 1000 * 0.05 is 50 :P
Thank you
Great video. My question is - what if you have say 200,000 options at $1 per share. You want to exercise those and purchase, but you don't have $200,000 to spend. You essentially can't afford to buy your shares - what's happens? Do you need to borrow etc? Thanks
Loved the video. It was very helpful. But I have one question. At the end of your vesting period, if your share's value has gone down, are you obligated to purchase the shares and sell them for less? In other words, is it a risk to accept employee stock options, or do you simply not choose to exercise the shares if they failed to increase in value?
Hi I got a question, since the Vesting Schedule has released all 1000 shares within a 4 Year Period, then why do you need the 10 year duration? Does that mean that, if an employee does not exercise within a period of 10 years, his options will be expired?

Yes, and I guess the vesting period is to keep the employee at the company?
The video shows 1 option = 1 share. I thought 1 option = 100 shares???
I would like to invest in this Knight Rider company!!
