My mom passed away around the time this song came out. My son's 6th birthday was the day of her funeral. This song really killed me because I related to it so much!

If you don't tear up during this song you don't have a soul. I'd like to suggest Steve Wariner - I'm Already Taken.

Gotta do a bunch of Steve Wariner songs. He's underrepresented in the reaction videos. The Weekend, A Woman Loves, Leave Him Out Of This, I Got Dreams, Life's Highway...and on and on and on.

One of my favorite songs, especially if I'm in the mindset where I need to access deep emotions and let them out. The lyrics are quite personal for me as I know they are for a lot of people including you Craig. As you always do you allow yourself to express what you're feeling which is one of the reasons I and others love your reactions.

Dang it! Had to grab some tissues again. At the age of 17, Steve joined Dotty West's band and stayed for a few years, then worked with Chet Atkins for a few more years before going solo. Talented musician and songwriter. Other commenters have mentioned my song choices😊 Thank you Craig

Steve Wariner is one of my top 5 artists in any genre. Amazing guitar player. He's often called the Poor Man's Vince Gill, which monetarily may be true, but is pretty much a slap in the face of his talent. There have only been 2 hits in the history of music that have gone #1 and include "scatting." Steve did the scatting on both. The first was his solo hit I Got Dreams. The 2nd was a song Steve wrote for Garth Brooks called Longneck Bottle. They performed it as a duet. I believe at the time it shot to #1 faster than any song in country music history.

This song! When my grandmother passed, her funeral was the first time the whole family had been together in years. It was pouring as we went from the funeral home to the cemetary. This song was on the radio as we drove across town. We sat for the graveside service and suddently the rain stopped and the sun came out. All I could think was that she was communicating with us.
