Humble guy...I still remember... he stopped when Tadaj crashed in one TDF stage..happy for him.

The fact Pogačar couldn’t get past him in the sprint is telling. What a ride from them both, we’re so lucky to be watching them both in their prime. Hopefully for many years to come!

The toughest are not afraid to cry - what a lesson

I am a huge fan of Jonas, and i think that in the future he will be regarded as the greatest grand tour rider of all time. BUT, this rivalry between him and the rider who i am sure will be regarded as the overall best bikerider of all time in the future, is simply legendary, and moments like what these two gentlemen of the sport gave us again today, we should all enjoy every second of, and never take for granted. The rest of this tour will be an amzing fight. I think Jonas will end up taking it, but Tadej is just soo good too, and anything is posible. With either of them not present, there would be no battle, just like in the Giro for Pogi. And we should all remember to enjoy how lucky we are to live in a time where we can see this amazing rivalry.

He is under so much pressure. And now he has the confidence to know he can win this race. So proud of him 👍😊

TdF 22 and 23 was amazing for him, even if Jonas finish 5 minutes after yellow on last stage this year this is his greatest win

Im Danish. Jonas was sure he was gonna die after that crash. He fractured 6 ribs,the clavicle,punctured both lungs and couldn't breathe. He was in hospital for 12 days. He was so scared and was even considering quitting.

Having suffered a similar bike accident, I can relate to the rehab process Vin has had to undergo. Kudos to his family and medical staff for getting him to the start line. Allez Vin, Allez!

"fascinating" is the perfect description. I think that Tadej, who just appears to really love to race his bike , and the competition is the the main reason for their friendly relationship . I root for Jonas to win, but how do you root against a true sportsman like Pogacar . Love this tour.

@@stevenmeyer9674 admittedly I root for Jonas as well, he won me over in 2022, and I relate to his personality more. Tadej’s dynamic ride and “always trying” style is also fun to watch, and the guy seems genuinely kind and funny. But the fact that they are so different from each other makes their rivalry even better. Very sad that the fans are always disrespecting each other while we have a really admirable display of sportsmanship between the two riders…

I cannot imagine a TD without both of them. Imagine if Jonas did not make it here this year? It would be a one man boring race with UAE controlling everything and knowing that Tadej would win the tour after watching stage 2. Thank's Jonas for doing all what you needed to do to get here somehow (still blows my mind you did). Now, let's have a proper legendary for the books battle with some of the greatest GC's of all time.

for real, Vingegaard had the balls today, way more than Evenepoel had when he said he had big balls, cuz that was just tactically very stupid and he kinda got saved by Vingegaard not riding with them in that stage, cuz he would have lost minutes if they would have done the big balls thing.
