@@Sumu29 this is a tough question. There are of course tablets you can take for motion sickness. But unfortunately I don’t think it’ll help for someone who is doing this job full time. I really don’t know any remedies for it either 😰😰😰😰 But well., turbulence is always present on flight. Almost every flight has even a little bit of turbulence. So it’s a tough decision you will have to make... 😞😞😞 Maybe if you search online you will be able to find some remedies. Personally I don’t know any, sorry I couldn’t help you much.

Akki, I would like to know regarding to the update on layover meals allowance. If finished training period and started flying. For first month of flying, Do we have to spend from our own pocket for layover meals until they credit it to the next month salary?

If it’s a small scar then it won’t be a problem ☺️☺️ Yes in the plane you take of your jacket and wear the waistcoat. Sorry, because of your profile name I’m not sure if you’re a boy or a girl. For boys they have long sleeve shirts. So the scar on the elbow won’t be a problem. For the girls it’s a short sleeve blouse but we have a long sleeve cardigan that we can wear over it incase we get cold. So you can wear that to cover the scar. But, you won’t be able to wear it always because sometimes it’s gets warm. If it’s a small scar or a few inches it won’t be a problem. Especially because it’s on the elbow and not very visible ☺️☺️

Hi my lovely, I think my accent came from living abroad when I was very very young for 2 years. And then of course watching too many American tv shows and movies helped too I think. I think I learned to pronounce words like them at a very very young age. And after moving to Dubai and living with an English girl for 6 years also influenced my accent a bit I think 😆😆😆 Thank you so much sweetie. Glad you like my videos ❤️❤️❤️

It really depends on what you do and how your social life in Dubai in life. I would say your expense at minimum would be 2-3000 AED. But it really depends on what you do in Dubai.

Can I know something sis ? How can we get details if their is a open day .. Idk anyone who is related to industry.. I meant like any fb page or websites? And is there any rule that u cant post any pic with Emirates uniform on social media though u re a cabin crew ?

Or use your phone while working. And not post any negative or inappropriate photos/comments along with the uniform photos. And not to speak badly of the company or country. Those are the basic guidelines

Hi, The cabin crew job has a lot of health risks to begin with. But there’s no significant studies done to see if there’s a link between cabin crew and cancer. So I would I say there’s not any different from the cancer rates in normal people.

@@palashkuche2278 yes the layover restrictions are temporary. After covid you will be able to walk around as usual. Sorry you don’t like my hair now. But this is my natural hair. when I was like Nami that was through years and years of chemical straightening. My hair was dry and damaged and falling after 9 years of chemically straightening it. It took me a long while to embrace my natural curly hair because a lot of people as yourself don’t see curls as beautiful. Many people see curly hair as ugly and unkempt. It’s so sad because as little girls growing up we always had no confidence in our hair coz it was often seen as not beautiful by others. Especially in my country. We had little confidence in our beauty and always wished we look like the girls that have straight hair. But after moving to Dubai I saw how much the curly hair was actually appreciated. How many people see it as beautiful. And how many foreign girls would love to have my natural curly hair that I thought was ugly when I was a little girl. So finally I have the courage to be natural again. And I’m finally starting to love my natural hair. Loving yourself for who you are is more important I think. So thank you for your feedback but I won’t be going back to harmful chemicals again. If I look like big mom to you now then so be it. Can’t please everyone. I have to do what’s best for myself.

If you are flying somewhere and the plane stops before the destination do you have a layover at both destinations.

Hi Issac, That really depends on the length of the route. Routes with two small sectors will only have a layover at the second sector. Ex: Male-Colombo route. We only have the layover in the Colombo sector. Where as if the route is very long and the two sectors are also very long then you will have a layover at both sectors. Ex: Athens-Newark Both sectors have layovers. Also if one of the sectors is more than 9hrs long then no matter how short the next sector is you will again have layovers in both sectors. Ex: Sydney-Auckland Layover in both sectors So most of the time routes with double or more sectors will have layovers in all sectors. But not always 😊😊😊
