I know that a lot of you already know about the pros and advantages of being an Emirates Cabin crew. Sometimes people think it's only about the glamour, about shopping around the world, taking beautiful pictures all around the world..., living a very lavish a popular lifestyle... Looking pretty like an Instagram model...
But have you ever thought about the cons and disadvantages of being Emirates cabin crew? Have you ever thought about the unglamorous side of this job? Have you thought about the health risks and the loneliness...? Or about the job insecurity? Have you THOUGHT ABOUT WHAT A CABIN CREW'S REAL DUTY IS? Just like any other job., the cabin crew job has it's cons too.
So today lets talk about 7 cons that are in the cabin crew job. Lets take a realistic approach to this job, instead of thinking that it's all rainbow and ponies!
Ear Barotrauma in Air travel
Ear Barotrauma is the stress on the eardrum that occurs when the pressure inside the ear is not the same as the air pressure inside the aircraft cabin. It most commonly is the result of rapid changes in environmental pressure, such as during descent, when cabin pressure rapidly rises. Barotrauma most commonly affects the middle ear; it happens when the eustachian tube is blocked due to nasal congestion and thus unable to equalize the air pressure in the middle ear with the outside cabin pressure.
This might cause pain, bleeding or other damage to the ear and sometimes lifelong (permanent) hearing loss.

Aura I’m in relationship should I tell about it if they ask on an interview or not? Or will I be able to have relationship while working?
In really not sure if I should apply now. I love working with people and I would love to help people see their families on special occasions but I'll definitely miss my own

You should. Go out there and see the world, meet people from different cultures. You will miss your family for sure, but you will gain a lot at the same time.. You can always quit after 1-2 years if you feel like you had enough. But I think you should try

Hey sweety i love watching your videos. Can you tell me what is the longest time you can be away from base for duty? Im just curious about all the crew that has plants and animals..who takes care of them etc

Hi there, The longest a duty can be is 7 days. Usually flatmates tend to plants and animals, if they are willing to. Sometimes people find other people to pet sit or drop pets off with friends… if that helps ☺️☺️
