This song has sooo much more effect on me now that i have my own daughter and my boys. Honestly started tearing up.

Haley is his only biological daughter, while Laney is an adopted daughter, so he's saying that Haley and Laney are close enough to be actual sisters. He also wants her to think of him as her real dad, because he thinks it just sounds right to say he is her dad.

there are 2 things in rap or all music but especially rap that are so important and yet so rare. Firstly, lyrics that actually mean something. And secondly, the rapper has to deliver it with credibility and emotions. Em is so good because he does all of that unlike most rappers.
