I love Emins creativity in what he did with the ground work in wing chun but my boy Philip Bayer will give him a real lesson in chi sao...

I'm not a Wing Chun guy, but I do exercises similar to this. I believe the purpose is to get a feel for your opponents movements, flow with it and take advantage of any openings while also learning how to move to defend yourself. By 'sticking' to your partner you learn to recognize and react to muscle movement quickly and efficiently. It's something best practiced in a relaxed state. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Boztepe has fought in amateur boxing bouts, and so has my wing chun sifu, and generally kung fu practicioners have respect for western boxing and spar against it. Why so much wasted energy on hating someone?

That is the one dimension you are thinking in... there are hundreds of good boxers he could beat... who knows how good Tyson is today? Why always being respectless, he is a powerfull martial artist, physically in good shape since more then 30years... no need to mess this up!

Umso lockerer du bist unso schneller kannst du reagieren. ^^ bei Emin kann men sehen das jede Bewegung aus dem ganzen Körper kommt, und dass er locker ist, darum ist er so schnell.^^Körperbewusstsein steht über Technik!

Why not? I have seen him fight against good boxers and Thai-Boxer... telling them to attack in any way they want!

axel w beim chi sao geht es auch nicht um zu hauen mein freund. Das ist kein sparing. Das ist genau so dumm wie wenn du sagst „wieso haut der mit der handpratze nicht zu sondern der mit den boxhandschuhen..“ in dem fall prüft emin boztepe seine schüler auf verschiedene programme und fordert sie nicht heraus :)

Emin berührt sie nur ein wenig. Er zeigt ihnen so ihre Lücken etc. Wenn er schlagen würde, dann wäre in 2 Sekunden alles vorbei.

of course he is a big man with 260 lbs but he doesn't use his power or weight in this video. He doesn't even use his full speed. he is just trying to teach students how to proper chi sau.
