As someone that thinks the world of him, as someone that thinks he is the greatest beast in the ring ever, I would have liked to appear on this show just to see his reaction, to me he is not a boxer, there are boxers, athletes that have great technique excellent footwork, stamina and speed, then you have Tyson which destroys them all with his supernaturally strong punches and iron body

I gotta agree with others here. He's become so chill and has an edge of self-deprecation and humility. He was ferocious and a horror for many years, an engine running on pure angst. I started watching him with Norm MacDonald and realized he's let go of all of that. He has a real sense of others and seems to be aware of a purpose beyond dismantling people. He's now walking through life with humor and a wisdom that only he can impart. Never thought I'd say this, "I love Mike Tyson!"

He had amazing head movement even while moving forward. I would call it aggressive defense. He had a technique of dodging, but using the momentum to shift and plant is feet for maximum power on the followup. Once close, his incredibly quick one-handed bodyshot-uppercut combo was lights out. 1988 Tyson was peak.

I would love to meet Tyson like that. I respect him on many different levels. 999 out of a thousand people have very little clue what it takes to fill his shoes to this day.
Mike has always been a very loveable and intelligent person. I feel he was around the wrong people and for this sudden success for a young man, it took control of him. But if you listen to his old interviews, he's always really gave some great gems.
Can we all just appreciate how grateful we are to still have Mike Tyson around with us, despite his upbringing and Mike is still in great condition as well.

True. I wasn't the biggest Mike Tyson fan whenever he was constantly getting into trouble and I just saw him as some jerk who did what he wanted because he could. But over the years, he's really shown what kind of person he is and what he wants to do and the things he values. He seems like a pretty cool guy that just been through some of the hardest times

I wish Mike would appear out of nowhere beside me. He is the reason i got into boxing as a hobby. His style and durability inspired me to be the type of boxer he is! Which is unfortunate I cannot compete in a ring because of my job as an artist.

Mike Tyson teaches us about redemption. How many guys end up spending their lives in prison doing what he did? When he lost Cus D’amato, spun out of control. He had countless assaults. Then he flipped a switch and put all the bitterness, rage, and fear in the past. What a beautiful person he has become. I wish everyone had a path to Redemption, it’s inspiring.

This man has transcended the life that was laid out for him, and not just once. He went from poverty and being likely to end up a statistic, to the champ and one of the all time greats. Then after that almost killed him too, he went to rock bottom and charted a whole new path back to being a different kind of king. It’s not over till it’s over guys, it’s never too late to do something positive
