Now onto the review and the EMERSON MICH 2000, this is a proper thickness Airsoft replica which is great for doing any Airsoft impression kits where you may want to add real components for a MICH or ACH style helmet as they require the thickness of the shell often to function correctly. The bonus you get is the shell is lightweight ABS plastic so you do not have the issue of a real-weight Kevlar helmet straining your neck unnecessarily for an Airsoft game.
I got this at the local Evike outpost for my son, sadly these seem to be closer in size to a medium than a large so I am stuck with the real ACH and MICH 2000 but my son is good to go and can be a nerd to his heart's delight and have a nice GWOT lid for the LARP.
I hope you got something out of this review and I may have helped you with a new lid for that ARMY, UMSC, or SOF GWOT kit you have always been wanting to do but have back burner do to the helmet price. Old school is the best school.
I got mine like 6 months ago and so far i love it, i replaced the pads for a Team Wendy suspension, i was going to add a USGI style NVG mount, but with the shipping costs i coulnt get one real, i bought a repro one but was ass and didnt come with the screw. Overall i love it, but i geez it is bulky as hell 😂

LOL, yeah, the full ear lids are some bulky boys. Nice on the team wendy upgrade. Yeah, the real USGI stuff is hit or miss getting it for a fair price outside the US. You can usually find them for as little as 5 USD if you shop around, especially if you are lucky enough to live near a large military base with lots of Army surplus stores.
PSA, there is a store in Aliexpress selling Fake Emerson helmets, the shell is half the thickness and it comes smaller. I uploaded a comparision on my channel.

Yup! We have been waiting for the weather to get a little warmer here in North Texas so we can spray it and set it up. We will be doing a follow-up series of shorts for sure and probably a full-length video as well. I would expect something by summer.
