I've got a 5 way big maple that is common union about 3-4 feet up right next to the power line and about 60 feet from the house. That thing has got to go! Good work as always.

That’s a pity to see all that fire wood destroyed. All that high priced equipment and no wood for a camp fire ?

Yeah they got real lucky. It could’ve been terrible. It’s too bad nobody can use that wood for firewood as expensive as power bills are going to be this winter.

They were lucky. You make that look easy but your brain has to be thinking about all your cuts and the order to do it great video. That chipper just keeps impressing me. Stay safe

I think autotune is keeping that 592 right on the edge, it seemed as you came out of the cut at 18:00 that it was a bit lean, it didn't want to settle right back down to an idle.

That is a hunk of wood when you have to attack from both sides. It will be fun to see how you attack the part still standing in a couple of weeks. I am no pro. So, I am always proud when I cut into something like that from both sides and I manage to meet my starting cut when i am through. I have seen others cut around a tree and it is easy to be off target an inch or two by the time you get around the tree and meet up with where you started your cut.

Those folks must be living right to get that lucky! Great video. Are you allowed to double tow in your state? For example, could you put the excavator in the back of the dump trailer, then hook the chipper to the dump trailer and tow them both to the job at the same time? I know some states allow it and some don't.

For the most part if the 1st trailer towed is a 5th wheel you can tow a bumper pull behind it. But always check your states laws.

We got our 28" and 22" trees down. Phew. 28 was a green Live oak that split in three with two parts standing - ice storm. the 22" was Red Oak and was dead lack of roots from neighbor builder cutting up mine and theirs and putting on pretty dirt not dirt with roots. Builder is from Big town with no rules on building. We and our plants miss both trees.
