Welcome! Heavy equipment, logging and chainsaws are what have gotten me to where I am today and I've spent my entire life working with trees. Over the past several years, my career path has steered in a little different direction by moving away from logging full time to residential tree care and removal full time. Join along as I produce daily videos of the different jobs/stuff that I do.

Thanks, Tim!

    First, safety first and foremost. That 400 sounds nasty and hungry. Good piece of equipment.

    Can you drive the lift at all with it lifted? If so, could you have raised the basket enough to clear the fence and come out the other direction? It looks to be shorter on the other end.

    I believe you can raise the jib, you can also take the entire basket off

    So I gave a big tree on lake edge and behind a shed with neighbors Aframe house near by. . ..tight squeeze, so how much did this cost to have someone use a machine like that to grab and lower the branches after cut?

    Anderson connector, looks to be a SB175 . It's the connector that electric forklifts and electric pallet jackets, and all sorts of other industrial stuff. SB175 for $25 buy the handle attachment, makes a whole lot easier to disconnect! I have 0g welding lead from my batteries on my truck hard-mounted anderson on the front bumper. So I can run my winch or jumper cables

  • @cotontop3
    @cotontop3Күн бұрын

    You are right, it is a 175. I looked at the dimensions online to figure out which one. They make several different sizes of those things.

  • @dogsarebest7107
    @dogsarebest7107Күн бұрын

    @@cotontop3 Yup they do! 175 is the most common one though. They make a handle that screws on, along with a wire clamp for strain relief. Worth every penny to buy them! The smallest one they make the sb50 is used in power wheelchairs and power scooters and are pretty nice, but for 50A powerpoles take up less space (ham radio guys love them powerpoles). Anyhow, gorgeous machine bud, I'm jealous! I have a Bobcat 225 w/ Subaru engine

    I like my unit. I do road service, so I built a connection pole to where I can connect the battery charge to my welding leads, so I can have 50' of lead to extend out back of service truck to charge batteries on side of freeway. If something you interested in check out "Bill Covert Service truck tour". I left the 30 gallon air tank in for the 1" impact

    I need something like that I see Lincoln's got something similar too I'm running an F 250 with the 8 ft utility bed with the 10'000 plus not much room for big enough compressor I got little 13 gallon C H in front of the welder but it's just like a cat's sneeze to the amount of air I needs sometimes

  • @FixinCat
    @FixinCatКүн бұрын

    I had a 250 bobcat airpak…absolutely hated it. Was sent off for service twice for repairs in 115 hrs. Air compressor makes so much water that you can barely use air tools. Filter/driers couldn’t manage the amount of water. Miller’s only solution cost was crazy $$$$. Sold it and went back to traditional separate units.

    Nice unit for a service truck. Probably Anderson SB connecters for the battery cables. When you setup for welding cables Tweco twist lock ends make secure dry storage easy cables are available in colors for + _ or just use shrink wrap to code them. I like to use a smaller guage cable whip for my stinger lead, 15 or 20 ft makes outof position welding a lot easier.
