Don't let me get in to the systems imma see who did that that was hacked those where air raid signals

A malfunction on anything these days is a real nuisance

Here’s a thing those were not tornado sirens. Those were air raid sirens. They weren’t a steady tone. The were reciprocating. I mean not that it really matters but people need to know the difference.

Dallas uses the reciprocating tone for Tornadoes. A lot of municipalities in the south do. Each municipality has their own policy. In some areas, the local volunteer fire department may use a reciprocating tone to call volunteers to the station for a call. That includes the several Volunteer Fire Departments in NYC I.e. the Aviation Volunteer Fire Department in the Bronx, the Broad Channel Volunteer Fire Department in Queens, etc. It all depends on the policy for sounding sirens in your local area, if your area has them. The sirens in my area only have one signal for all severe weather threats that the policy covers. That is the steady signal, however they could switch it to a reciprocating one if they wanted to. It turns out the low tone when the siren winds down during the reciprocating “attack” signal, reaches further out, extending the siren’s effective range by as much as 1/2 a mile in some cases. That’s why they do it. The reciprocating tone means “take cover”. Which is what you are told to do here in the USA when a tornado warning is issued. Hence the reciprocating “attack” signal.

In my own opinion the multiple horn sirens would be far louder than the single horn sirens would

They’re not louder, they just provide more sound around the whole siren instead of just one side, in fact usually they’re less loud.
