I can’t express how amazing this sounds! My only problem is at 0:35 where the chimes usually come in being replaced by just another riff with the trumpet, but everything else just clicks into place beautifully!

YOU HAVE RETURNED! And with a GEM of a track, no less! (no pun intended) I'm assuming inspiration was derived from the version of Emerald Hill that is heard in the Sonic 2 HD fan-game? If so, then you've brought it up quite a few notches! Keep it up! Blue blurs for life!

You are both correct! The HD version was some inspiration, but the similarities just also come from my style being similar anyways. As for the Genesis bass, absolutely wanted to include it because it's just got a nice 'twang' to it. 👍🏿

I like how it's similar to Tee Lopes's old Emerald Hill remix but greatly improved. I went back to listen to the other remix, and I can safely say that this one gets more of the "Hell yeah, it's Sonic the Hedgehog!" energy going that I think of when I think Emerald Hill. Great work!

Edit: Two years later, this comment is a bit too passionate lol xD, i love Green Hill and it's theme, but i just wanted to express how i feel like Emerald Hill's theme and vibe is way more charismatic than Green Hill's
