One of the most beautiful songs of all time! Timeless! Incredibly beautiful!✨

My history teacher played this song in class when I was a senior in high school. She used this song as a starter piece to talk about racism, white privilege, police brutality, and how systematically our society divides POC from work, housing, how they're treated by the legal system, etc. This song is the first thing I go to whenever I hold conversations about racism and privilege. "Listen to these words. Tell me what the song is talking about? Are there relevant issues today that could match this song?" And boom, the ball is rolling.

This is one of the most important songs produced in recent years. We all need to listen to these words and internalize them. Think for yourself, be your own voice. When you see something wrong, don't be afraid to raise your voice. Don't be afraid. We can all do great things and make the world better.

I’m having a hard time right now, never heard this song in my life and it was in my recommendations, I really needed to hear this more then ever right now. 😭😭

Story of my life! I have had a brother, guys in my school and cousins that bullied me as a child and a mother that loves to put me down and a father that calls me names and he never listens. If you get disrespect from people that are supposed to support and love you, it is hard to find your way in life and find the strength and courage to speak up when no one tells you that they are proud of you and they believe in you.

Well, what does underrated mean? Maybe she is not interested in publicity, money, glory, just music. Believe it or not, some people just love music and make it for themselves and others who they like. If you can make a living from that it's ok. People need to stand together and speak! Here I will speak no song no punishment no apology could ever change what this song means to me. I want to scream I want to shout! I lost everything I loved in this world! For a world i knew nothing about! All that we can do know is live love and except each other. Every one will meet there maker. Listen to the stories believe what you will. Hopefully it helps someone feel another person's desperation. Remember at the end of the day all you have is your integrity. Who says she's underrated? She's an internationally acclaimed artist and highly sought after song writer with over 19 million singles sold including 3x UK No. 1 singles, 6 million albums, and four BRIT awards. That's far from underrated. She definitely gets the credit and recognition she deserves for the work she puts out for all of us to enjoy.

Without a doubt . This particular vocal of Emile Sande . 47 seconds in . Her voice ,"There's no need to be ashamed ". I am just in love and hypnotized by it. So genuine and emotionally sounding performance. She's a queen.

Hi Emma, it's Emily Sands from sex education, we were together in the Lincoln safehouse, and I feel the same. I often do a music journalling or a soul reading with john holland spirit message cards, on KZread as an outlet for my emotions. I went on a workshop with Helen Smith's daughter, Sam Smiths sister, and we were encouraged to journal as part of the trauma triangle therapy.

I speak out now for mental health and this is my song. This song always guarantees tears.

There was a time in my life when I used to wish I were taller thiner and famous I used to wish to be someone else live somewhere else and have a lot of things then I found someone who loves me and realize I was who I wanted to be time ago I start to dress better take care of myself get healthy and the times went by so fast now I don't want to be someone else anymore and now that I have the things I dreamt I realize it doesnt make me who I am or makes me more important. So please repeat yourself that you can be what you want you are beautiful on your own way and all the material things you want to have will never make you someone else!

This song has so much power and emotion one cannot listen to it and be left unchanged! This song actually always makes me cry, and yet it got me through some very hard times. I will forever be grateful to the person who composed this music, as it keep me going on.

No matter what people say. This song is so beatiful and lirycs are so powerful. Cannot stop hearing it. She is an amazing singer.

I’m now 11 ive listened to this every day on my birthday this was my favourite song when I was 9 months old and It used to send me to sleep I miss the days when we didn’t have to wear a mask wherever we go it was a simple time I miss it so much x I hope you stay safe from Coronavirus 🦠 ❌💖💖
