Hi, I am having problems to set up the fast frame setting on the machine. Thank you.

They do look nice and everything but how do you hold the item in place? It seems to lack any kind of clamps or grip. Bigger items like leather bags will probably need something different.

Depends on the size of the hat. The fast frames come with 8 different hoop sizes in 1 package, all you have to do is choose the one that best fits your product!

Are the 8 in 1 interchangeable with other Ricoma machines like the 1501? I'm assuming it should since it should all be the same size. Just not sure about the bracket.

Hello, we have different 8-in-1 models compatible with each of our different machine models. You'll have to make sure to purchase the 8-in-1 that is compatible with the select machine.

You can use any brand of sticky adhesive backing and it can be purchased at any embroidery supply store. There's not one brand we recommend over the others!

Thats a good idea for a future episode. What you can do is float the garment and use adhesive stabilizer and binder clips to hold it together.

Is there a way to turn laser on so you can place it on the center of the design without tracing it?

Hi, the hoops you got with your machine are preset in the panel. Choose other when using specialty hoops!

I have ricoma MT 1502 and trying to do the pocket on a dress shirt would not allow enough clearance for the shirt to go under the throat of the machine. Help I was using the bigger of the pocket hoops

Hi Zahida, make sure your machine is level, the bracket arms are tight and that the knob that tightens the frame is securely fastened. Let me know if this helps :)

@@ricomatv hi, I couldn't find any info about material itself. Is this made of aluminium or steel?

I've been trying to use these fast frames but mine keep bouncing and causing thread nesting on the back side of the embroidery design. How do I fix that problem? All the screws are tight so it's not that and it fits snuggly into the arms of the machine. I've lowered the stitching to the lowest setting possible (400 spm). I'm using a Babylock Endurance II. I've tried the same design on a traditional frame and it stitches out perfectly. It would be so much faster if I could use the fast frames. If someone could give me some ideas I would appreciate it. Thank you.

I've had the same problem on a Ricoma. They aren't the most secure.

Do you need to change settings on the machine? My machine makes a crazy noise when it tries to trace or figure the size.

No need to change any settings just make sure to choose "other" in the preset hoop options when selecting a hoop size.

It could be a couple things: 1) Make sure that the area of the garment that you are trying to embroider on has enough clearance underneath the sewing arm and that it is not getting caught on the sewing arm when you trace. 2) Make sure the weight of the garment isn't causing the fast frame to bend down and crash against the sewing arm (you can fix this by bending the fast frame up so that is doesn't crash or resting the garment on something while it embroiders so that it doesn't weigh down the fast frame). If the issue is something else contact us and we'll get a someone to facetime with you to resolve this issue - www.ricoma.us/tech-support

I received my 8 in 1 and the design is too big for the hoops received. I'm not able to hoop with the regular hoops. I was told the 8 in 1 would help, but i still cannot embroider the bag. Now i'm being told to get the magnetic hoop, i have also broken up the design, and it still will not fit any of the 8 in 1. so disappointed in this purchase of the 8 in 1.

Hi Denise, the 8 in 1 device is used to embroider small, hard to hoop areas on items like pockets or shirt sleeves. For a large design on a bag you would need to use a large regular hoop or mighty hoop if you prefer. If the design is still too big when using the largest hoop you have, I'd suggested calling tech support to see how they can help -> ricoma.com/US/tech-support

If only they weren't always out of stock for the 1501tc. :/
