Advent children was my first introduction to final fantasy. I found Zack and arith so mysterious, eve though I didn't get the plot all that well, I thought it was even live action😅and that they actually exist in real life.

I went to AC without playing the game first, I didn't understand their importance, I did so because I am a huge FF8 fan, so when this was released I was excited. Didn't make much sense because I hadn't played the game lol, the first version didn't help much either. Then I played the game and here we are. Watching clips of that movie almost two decades later.

It was fun seeing this in theaters back in February, when Square Enix released it again as a way to celebrate Rebirth on the 29th. Seeing this movie again for the first time in years made me realize that it wasn’t as great as I remembered, and felt silly that I’d invited my girlfriend to watch it with me. But I do remember this part, and it was probably one of my favorites.
