Before embossing anything you need to first wipe down your surface (baby wipe works) then tap on some baby powder or cornstarch to prevent static from letting the embossing powder from sticking where you don't want it. If it does happen, just take a super fine paint brush and brush the powder away before heating. And always let your heat gun pre-heat before pointing at your powder. Thanks for sharing.

This video was brilliant! I've been looking for a way i can use coasters into placemats to save on resin and not wasting on material really. You just introduced me to the world of embossing in resin lol more money to spend then😂😂

That is so gorgeous 😍😍. I've got lots of imperfect coasters that would work for this idea, but it will have to wait until next year as due to the weather I can no longer do the resin. Everything I've made recently will need recoating next year, including the double hearts with crystals 🙄🙁.Got withdrawal symptoms and it's only been a week 😂. I love the black crushed glass too, will have to get some of that.

Thanks Tazmin, I actually went to IKEA to buy the transparent crushed glass and when I saw the black I just had to add it to my basket I think they would also look fabulous in a lighter tray surrounded by left over coasters but that's for another tutorial, have a great weekend my dear take care 💙💙💙
