    👋 Hello! Did you have to wait until the resin dries before putting the cardboard on the back? If yes, what kind of glue did you use to keep the cardboard stay still?

    What is the power and speed setting for that cardboard. I have a 10 w diode laser.

    I showed it with the screen view of my computer at 00:25. It was 100 power 100 speed on the score setting. This was very thick metallic card so your speeds and power might change for your cardstock.

    For the bottle stoppers, wouldn’t you need casting resin since they’re deep? Trying to determine what resin is best

  • @EdnaWargon
    @EdnaWargon22 күн бұрын

    No, it's not too deep but I did them in 2 pours for the flowers so they wouldn't float to the top.

    Thanks for the video Mam, please can you help me? why do you apply acrylic paint on metal surface, if you don't apply it. does the laser works?

  • @EdnaWargon
    @EdnaWargon18 күн бұрын

    Metal is reflective. The laser bounces back so it won't engrave. If you cover the laser with flat dark paint, the laser penetrates and will engrave metal and glass.

    If you use a 2:1 resin that's correct. I used a 1:1 ratio resin so equal amounts of both in this case.

    Is plasticine (probably spelled wrong) a clay that will harden naturally or do you mean we can use it like polymer clay? My apologies for the ignorance. I am trying to learn how to make my own silicone molds for resin art and have never heard of that product. Super helpful video!

  • @EdnaWargon

    If the paint is dry you can resin on top.
