Embellishing a 4-Step Sequence with the Make Noise Pressure Points

Музыка

Some techniques I've used to get more from a simple 4-step sequence, using a sequential switch and clock divider. Co-starring the Make Noise Tempi, RYO Paths and Qu-bit Nano Rand.

hi there, nice video, can I ask you something? I recently purchased brains + pp but when i hit play on my system it seams like pp is jumping steps and doesn't start from the first, or it might start from the first step but it will run half of it and then jump to the second. This happens only the first time I hit play, after it cycles once, then it plays normal. Any ideas ? thank you

fotfoti how are you clocking brains? IIRC brains doesn’t reset to the first step without something sent into the RST input to do that, it will just play from where it is.

Thank you so much for your replay. Im sending a standard 1/16 pulse from my daw(ableton) to doepfer a-190 interface then to 2hp div which is multiplied and then to brains. All Im trying to do is to change the root note of metropolis in 4 steps (1 step = 8 pulses long) over time which will follow the DAW. So I will need one gate signal to reset the brains after one full cycle? If each step of PP is lets say 8 pulses then I will need one pulse every 32 pulse. How can I achieve this? Sequential switch ? Thank you :)
