You can try exposing the antenna from underneath the canopy, that may help with image quality as well...

It definitely doesn't hurt to do that. We tried it while troubleshooting the interference on raceband 4, bit it didn't make a difference. Thanks for the tip though. I appreciate you taking the time to watch and leave a comment.

I need help, I was messing with the camera channels and I selected one and now I can't see anything, how do you solve this problem. I already tried switching it by messing with the buttons on the side of the screen.

It sounds like your VTX is locked. You'll need to hold down the VTX button (I think it might be near where the antenna connects to the AIO board) while plugging in a battery. You might need 3 hands to do this. I believe you changed the channel to a locked frequency. Unlocking your VTX will probably be the easiest thing to try.

Ok. Just re-watched this and you did say you used the other monitor/goggles that have the DVR. Gotta pay more attention. Getting this in the air today I hope.

@@Jim_Mundy Did it work for you? I got one yesterday and i turned it on and I had a picture on the goggles for less then 1 minute. I could not get the drone to fly either. It beeped every time I touched a switch but the propellers never moved.

@@riftur7636 I eventually got it working. I didn’t use the goggles. I have mono vision following lasik and I’m old ( :-) ) so I only flew it w/o goggles. I did use the monitor to monitor battery. The monitor does have to be on the correct channel and that took me a while to figure out too. Support was helpful but I had to go back and forth a couple times. Good luck.

@@Jim_Mundy i was able to get it on the right channel for the goggles to work but it still would not fly. I contacted support and am waiting to hear back. Was it worth the money? Thanks for the quick reply.

Any advice on connecting the controller to a MacBook for simulator training?

Which simulator are you using? At first, it didn't seem to work for me, but I tried it with Curry Kitten and it simply works. Plug and play... After assigning the stick controls in the Curry Kitten settings.

Hi Jeff. Yes, the radio will bind with D8 and D16 compatible quads. As far as I know, it's the same radio included in the TH3 kit. This video shows how to bind with other quads, if you're interested. kzread.info/dash/bejne/faWowcqPfsbHZ9I.html And the goggles are analog, so they are receive only, which means they will be able to tune into any other analog FPV video transmission.

Yeah, it's hidden away, but we eventually pulled it out, to see if the interference we were having was due to the reception. In the end, it didn't make a noticeable difference, since the interference was probably some wireless device in the office here.

Tried changing the channel to rb8 from rb4 and now my drone can't find any channel at all and I can't pull up the settings on a fuzzy screen any ideas ??

Hey - it's been a while since I had this drone. Is there a way to auto search for a signal instead of changing the channels manually? Or, maybe try a different set of goggles that you can change manually?

If your VTX is locked, try unlocking it by holding down the VTX button and plugging in a battery. If that doesn't work, plug in the quad into your computer, open the betaflight configurator, and in the CLI tab, paste the following and then press enter: set vtx_band=5 set vtx_channel=8 save
