Field Officer Chris discovered a severely emaciated mare, Moose, who was pregnant and urgently needed care at our Hall Farm Rescue and Rehoming Centre in Norfolk. Six days later, foal Goose was born, but due to Moose’s weak condition he couldn’t get everything he needed from her and he developed sepsis, necessitating swift medical intervention.
Thanks to this dedicated care, Goose defied the odds and began to thrive. At the same time, Snowy, another pregnant mare, arrived in our care with a foal at foot, giving birth to Cancan shortly after her foal was weaned. Snowy’s health deteriorated, and sadly she did not make it, leaving Cancan orphaned.
As Moose’s health had improved and little Goose was doing well everyone agreed that Cancan would make the perfect addition to their family. With Cancan receiving additional hand-feeds from our grooms a new family emerged. Your support can ensure that these horses have a safe and caring Christmas at our Hall Farm Rescue and Rehoming Centre. Your generous Christmas donation can make a significant impact on a horse in need.

THANK YOU for all the difficult work you do to save abused and neglected horses and ponies! These ponies would never have survived without your intervention! I will never understand how people think it's okay to neglect or abuse their horses. Animal cruelty laws need to be so much tougher. ❤

Amazing transformation of Moose she’s beautiful, irresponsible owner letting a stallion run with mares, indiscriminate breeding makes me so angry 😡, you’ve done an incredible job with Moose and her babies, tfs x Julie
Fantastic work by everyone at Hall Farm, giving Moose, little Goose and Cancan a good chance at life. So sad that Snowy didn't make it, but glad that Moose has stepped in to be a mummy for Cancan, what a beautiful, big hearted mare ❤🐴❤
Those are lovely little ponies. Fortunately, they got into the care of the right people.
Wonderful that Moose was rescued. Thanks so much for helping them.

Thank you so much for your support Kim!
What a beautiful little family from such despair. I don't and never will understand why people take on animals, knowing they either can't or won't give them the necessary care. Thank you, WHW, for saving these precious lives (unfortunately, 1 didn't make it, but she is no longer suffering), however, Moose has taken on the role of surrogate mum and the 2 young boys have company to learn and grow together. The work you do is so important to help save these beautiful animals. Thanks again ❤️🇦🇺
OMG, tears in my eyes watching this, where would those beautiful babies be without WHW, you are an inspiration, thank you, ❤❤

Thank you for everything you do for horses. 🥰🐴
Poor mamma.
Thanks is not enough. There are no words to express my gratitude to you for the fine work you do for these equines. God bless these horses and you.
Aww, this is just so lovely. You two are brilliant human beings as are the rest of your team. If only we had more like you all, the world would be a much nicer place to live in. Poor Snowy but I'm delighted to see all the other horses doing so well.
Watching from the USA---thank you for all you do!
Great work! Continue to do your best…You all are proof that Angels Walk The Earth
Wonderful people, great little mare. Thank you for all you do, you have changed several lives for the better.
Great work, thank you for saving them. They are all beautiful
Thank you for all the great work you do careing for these animals. Why do these people have animals they should be band from keeping them.
bless her. i know a pony who looks just like her. but he lives a pampered existence.
What a lovely outcome.
You are one of God's angels on earth. Thank you from.the bottom of my heart. I wish there were more people on earth like you.
Rest in peace Snowy❤
You all did a great job.
Poor mare! 😥😢😟☺️🙂
thank you 🥰😍
Bravo!
I'm watching from the USA. It appears to me from watching your posts that a lot of your rescues look like gypsy vanners or cobs. Are the Travelers not able to care properly for their horses or am I just misinterpreting what I'm watching? Regardless though, it is so sad and disheartening to see such beautiful horses so neglected. Thank you for your efforts to heal and care for them and to find them loving homes.❤😊

I was just about to make the same comment. Moose definitely looks like a Gypsy Vanner with those beautiful feathers, long mane and tail.
Thak you so much for loving and respect for Gods loving animals, God Bless you ALL!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for ALL the heard work YOU all do ,AND all the helpful advise YOU GIVE people.
Moose is gorgeous ❤
Thank you so much❤
Love the work you guys do! Wish we had foals and horses that look like Moose and the babies here in the states! They are such beautiful babies and remind me of gypsy horses which are a somewhat rare and expensive breed here in the US!
Beautiful rescued horses!!
Beautiful work by all.
She's bones. 😢😢😢
I really do not want to criticize, but wouldn't it be better to take a laminitic pony off grass into a sand lot before it gets so severe that it has to be put down?
Is that a huge spider on his nose?? 😮 At 4:42💙
This mare is beautiful! How can you adopt from WHW? I’d be really interested in it & bonus if thsi mare will be available one day
Are y'all going to find a new home for her or are you keeping them?
GET HER OUT OF THERE!

To bad the poor girl is named moose.
The still photo of the two mares and their foals out in a field is staggering. Why did you think that this was safe for a laminitic pony, the sward is full of ryegrass, far too rich for any horse, never mind a laminitic pony. This caused Snowie's death, and if a more species appropriate diet had been given, her death could have been prevented.
What people do to animals is despicable! Really disgusting!
