It was about handguns, so there was a risk if they were fired upon.
The news channel minimized their reporting. The mother moved to that city to get her baby the medical care he required. He was scheduled to have heart surgery, which has now been delayed due to his current status after this raid. The baby wasn't just "in the hospital." He was Life Flighted out and admitted to ICU in critical condition. He was covered from head to toe with glass shards, had burns and irritation on his skin and eyes, and shortly after began developing respiratory distress from the toxins inhaled from the flash grenade shot or thrown through the window The mother seems to be trying to remain calm and understanding in the bodycam because she knew getting, rightfully so, irrate would only result in hostility from the cops. She wasn't trying to go to jail for disorderly conduct or obstruction(aka..contempt of cop). 28 cops vs 1 young mother...I'd say she played it smart. The cops had been to the home numerous time before this and were told the boy hadn't live there in over a year. The extreme measures taken for a 14 y/o burglary suspect was beyond unwarranted. The fact that the Chief is covering up, justifying, and straight up LYING about major mistakes by his officers is disgusting.

The entire country little by little has been forming a police state by the government to gain control over U.S citizens for along time now. Not to dismiss the wrongful doings this local police dept had no right in doing what they did here whatsoever. However, as wrong as the unwarranted force the EPD chose to do right here in this video. They're a distraction to the least of our worries of the craziness coming to a town near you soon, trust me. I know you've heard the same old BS before over & over again to what I'm saying here now. Still all BS aside, riddle me this if you will. When is enough gonna be enough for us to shlt or get off the pot already & stop talking BS amongst each other whining about what needs to be done? Seriously, WTF is it gonna take for us to realize it's now or never? If we continue to allow this to just fall on deaf ears & turn the page to the next story to feed our need of another distraction? I certainly don't have the answers to solve these questions, yet I'm all ears & believe there's a lot of truth in the wise words of a few phrases I know of over the years. Such as, "Actions Speak Louder Than Words," & "Give Um' An Inch They'll Take A Mile," are 2 that come to mind. But, one of my favorites that holds more truth now than ever before is a quote by Benny Franklin that's states. "Those Who Would Give Up Essential Liberty, To Purchase A Little Bit Of Safety, Deserve Neither Liberty Nor Safety." What say you? 🤔

I live in the Cleveland and the whole area of NE Ohio is overrun with bad cops. The blue line terrorists didn't do their homework and couldn't figure out that the 14 year old kid they have a warrant for hasn't lived in that house for at least a year. The terrorists broke a window above the child and threw in a flash grenade. It went off a few feet away and it put the infant in intensive care. The child has health issue too. They cuffed the mom and kept her away from her baby for 20 minutes. The terrorist chief said his criminal cohorts did nothing wrong. Typical. ftp
Even if everything was correct and the 14 year old suspect was in the house this seems like massive overkill to arrest a 14 year old. For what crime? These poorly trained cowards are probably all excited that they get to go play Army knowing that the pretend enemy is probably unarmed and untrained. They get to damage other people's property and possibly get to beat people up with no repercussions when it's found that they are in the wrong. Of course they will investigate themselves and find they are guilty of no wrongdoing. Only an outside agency might find them guilty of doing something wrong. The police had been to this house at least 4 other times in the last 11 months looking for the same boy who had moved to a different home in the same area January 2023. The police say the flashbangs have nothing that will harm a human..... They also say the baby was checked by EMS and they found nothing wrong. It seems like they've already decided they were going to seriously injure someone. @@markbonner1139 from what I saw originally the girls cousin lived there after the kid and parent moved down the street and the cops went there 4 or 5 times and every time was he doesn't live there. The way I see it with the thin skin mentality of modern day law enforcement the cousin got under their skin so this was a retaliation raid. Trust me when I tell you there are grudges and depending on the situation things that shouldn't occur do anyways.
It’s okay though, the police said flash bangs are completely harmless to babies…
My first thought before I even know anything about the case, is that this Police Department is a bunch of untrained thugs. It looks like this attack on the home has 20 or more officers, and yet they all seem to be approaching from the most likely place to be seen, the front of the home. Anybody who has even spent 10 minutes in a tactical training scenario or class, would know that it makes more sense to have everybody approached from the sides, moving some of your soldiers to the sides and back before the team for the front moves around toward the front door. But then again, perhaps this was more about theater for the neighborhood than it was about any actual attempt at an arrest or a warrant.

There were probably 28 more cops that wish they could have joined in the play too.
That was not a police force. That was a future death squad.
So the point of the flash bangs outside was what? Feels like it was just so the cops could play soldier. I also really want to know what this alleged 14 year old was suspected of that required 20+ cops with explosives and assualt rifles to search a house for them.

Previous reports said the 14 y/o had a warrant for burglary. You would think by the 20+ highly armed cops that the kid just murdered an entire block, but nope. Just burglary.

Yeah 😂
Sue them for 20 million lady
TWENTY EIGHT cops with long rifles for a FOURTEEN YEAR OLD?? Most good Cops from a good department could do this warrant with 3-4 cops with 38 specials...
Remember Uvalde!!! Look at all these brave officers, look at all your tax dollars at work. This is absolutely disgusting!!!
Several problems with this: 1. 28 heavily armed SEAL team wannabes for a 14yo kid? Seriously? 2. These Green Beret wannabes have been informed many, many times (reportedly) that the 14yo hasn't lived there for over a year. Their fellow army dropouts weren't intelligent enough to figure out that the kid didn't live there. 3. A basic homework by a single officer with even the intelligence of a middle school kid would prevented this whole embarrassing fiasco. But I guess even paramilitary strike force wannabes can't operate without everything being FUBAR. 4. The landed like they were invading a small country looking for a 14yo male crime lord but they settle for putting a mother of a 17month old baby in handcuffs while they gassed her baby. 5. American police are not intelligent. 28 officers and the collective IQ points still didn't reach 100.
Shameful. Disgusting! A 14 yr old? Unbelievable!
GET A LAWYER TEAM NOW!!!!
Gee , I wonder what a police state looks like. Total overkill. For a 14 yr old kid. What the hell is going on. And a mistake to boot.
Sue them all and hold them accountable for their crimes
Unbelievable
I guess parking an unmarked surveillance unit close by and waiting for the person with the warrant to come out wouldn’t justify all the taxpayer dollars spent on SWAT team training.
At first I thought they were going after a warlord wow. Why didn't they wait to see if someone answered the door l think they should be fired and jailed this is horrible
Surely they are trying to disarm and apprehend a terrorist cell, not a 14 year old kid. This is criminal.
The reporter worded this as though the police got there late and just missed the kid. The person no longer lived there and apparently lived down the street with his family. Bad police work, bad policies, no leadership or accountability. This story has happened to thousands of families over the last 40 years and the reporter thinks this is an isolated case, maybe an “honest” mistake. It isn’t. It’s systemic and flat out unconstitutional.
i'm sure the cops will investigate themselves and find they did nothing wrong......please sue them
This is what happens when we militarize the police force who are already so poorly trained.
28 officers who were they looking for a terrorist. That’s insane. Happens to black people all the time. She is lucky to be alive. It horrible that her child was injured
What? Not another speedy and thorough no wrong doing found investigation! Always the best way to ensure this never happens again.
My question is why did they blow an upper story window without having a ladder to get through said window

They broke in the basements window too. Never planned on entering, just there to tear shit up..
28 OFFICERS??!?!??!?
If your in the shower you never hear any of this
Why does a town of 50k people have a 30 person raid team?? Who thought this was a proportional response to apprehend a 14 year old shoplifter??
Whats wrong is someone feeling so intimidated that she actually thanks them. This is what happens when law ebforment have became so powerful and are willing to lie and create whatever they need or want to justify the means.
Brilliant police work! 28 cops in riot gear with flash grenade destroying property and harming a baby while looking for a 14 year old who was not residing on that property, wow! what if it was an adult they were in search of, it would have been an all out nuclear war. It would have been Hiroshima but in the USA.
EMBARRASSING!?
The 14 year old must have been operating an unlicensed donut shop.
Even if it was a 30 year old armed murder suspect, they still brought a ridiculous number of people!
