The Ann Margret era was my favorite in Elvis’s hair, face the way he dressed in suit jackets and black pants. He looked so gorgeous and dreamy this period of his life❣️ The way he looked into her eyes and her into his makes me melt❣️ They were so in love ♥️ at that time….just wished they could have stayed together but Parker had to intrude into his personal life as well as PB’s parents

He sent her flowers EVERY DAY until the day he died. When they didn't arrive she knew something was wrong. 😢 He ONLY married Priscilla after her & her US AIR FORCE COLONEL Dad FORCED him to. They had a meeting with The Colonel in Studio City in LA threatening to call a press confrence and destroy his career once Ann & his affair made the paper. He told Ann and it's why they broke up. Listen to Elvis tell Red West in 1976 when Red secretly recorded Elvis' phone conversation. It's MIND BLOWING.

His voice is mesmerising. Chills down the spine 40 years later.

Such a beautiful and touching song. Elvis could sing anything and it would be unforgettable.

The chemistry between these two gorgeous people was there for everyone to see. As much as he loved Priscilla I think he never stopped loving Ann Margaret. ❤ ❤

Priscilla and her stepfather were more interested in Elvis' fame and money than in the person. That's why Priscilla left him in 1972 with a million $$ in her pockets from which she bought a luxurious house for her parents. Before Ann-Margret Elvis lost his girlfriend Anita Wood because of opportunist Priscilla Beaulieu. Both were much more beautiful and talented than Priscilla and never used Elvis to enrich themselves or promote themselves let alone tell everything about Elvis' private life to make money. Was Elvis pressured/blackmailed by Beaulieu/Priscilla because of her young age when Elvis met her? It's such a pity that Ann-Margret and Elvis didn't marry. Elvis would have been a lot happier.

How can people dislike hearing The King singing a beautiful ballad. When He sang... The world stood still to hear Him sing. I grew up listening to His records and seeing his concerts. Because of Elvis. I now play the piano, and he also taught me to sing correctly. I miss Him so much, but He lives on in His music. And forever in my heart.

Elvis wanted more, the pills he took only band-aids your what was sucking the life out of Elvis Presley was creative disappointment, should have been in the film with Barbra Streisand. A Star is born but the colonel would not allow it. It would have given a different direction.

For me, as a young kid, the world changed forever on Nov 22, 1963.

What a shame this version was not part of viva Las Vegas the chemistry between the two was there to see

Now if people who saw and heard this would only know that Elvis and Ann truly loved one another, very passionately. Thus why this was so real and authentic. They couldn't be together forever because of Elvis's other obligation. After much reading and research, I don't believe he loved anyone as much as he did Ann, nor she him.

The whole video you can see clearly both Elvis and Ann were in another life meant to be together, (imagine their first dance at their wedding would have been a music video in itself) They were a fantastic match. Even Elvis' friends on set at the time have said over the years how much they preferred Ann over Priscilla and how smitten Elvis was around her. Even this duet feels like how they are demonstrating their love for each other. My favourite scene was of the both of them water-skiing. Even Ann had more confidence, and her wave 😂😂 see Elvis' reaction like "Wow!" "Even am silent!." Like two combined hearts coming together.

When I was little, this was my favorite movie and even then, being a kid and knowing nothing at all about 'grown up' love, I knew it was real, the emotions, the smiles, the fun they had together. It was genuine. There was nothing fake about it. He broke her heart though and I believe it's why she married in a rush right after he did, and why the morning after her wedding she ran away back to her parents home for a short time.

Even when they sing together, the sync was perfect, and neither outshone the other in singing. In another life, they were the perfect couple. If both Ann and Elvis married, (imagine the wedding first dance) 😂 I believe personally Elvis might have still been alive since she had such a strong personality, the Colonel's influence might have been tamed.

When Elvis started that piano l was knocked for six.

I will never forgive RCA/Sony for not releasing this as a single or video. Even after Elvis was gone, they could have had Ann-Margret make the rounds to promote it. It would have been a big posthumous hit.

watching this movie, you can really tell he was having a lot of fun with her. with the other movies, he hated them and in some of them, it shows bc his acting isn't so great in them. but his acting is superb in this movie, and he's so happy in this movie. she made him so happy.
