I am turning 60 next year and my sons and I are going to Graceland for my birthday Elvis will go down in history as the best looking man to ever sing a ballad to a woman !!!!!❤😊

I can't help falling in love with this song

This was my parents wedding song. I lost my father when I was pretty young. He loved this song and sang it all the time in the car. I was so embarrassed as a kid. Many many years later I’m learning to play the guitar and have to learn the song. I may never fall in love again but it would be awesome to play and sing it for my mom before she’s gone too. Wish me luck! It’s hard to listen to it without tears in my eyes. I need all the help I can get. *Update... I am getting notifications of all the supportive comments but when I look at the comment thread I can’t see them. Thank you everyone! I am working it! It’s only been 3 weeks, but I can say it’s really helped me learn. For all of the guitarists, switching to the F chord has been the biggest challenge for me. This song is full of F chords. 😆

May your mother have a good recovery! My aunt passed away from her fifth cancer years ago but she'll always be missed in our family. My uncle sold all of his riches for her but unfortunately she didn't make it. She had a strong fighting spirit against it, but it was just too much unfortunately. I hope your mother fares better. I'm glad to hear of your recovery. Best wishes.
