I grew up in the 50's and saw 2 concerts in Virginia, and every time he sang this song girls would run to the front, unfortunately my husband wouldn't let me. He was so handsome he was stunning, he had a charm to ,he made every woman no matter what age or type feel special. He really loved women. He also gave away rings and money from the stage. Thanks and Be blessed.

I was fortunate enough to see Elvis in concert twice. And I got a good close look too. Living, breathing, 3 dimensional, he was the most beautiful human being I've ever seen. It was hard to believe he was even real. It's obvious from photos & movies that he was handsome but in person he was stunning. Combine that with his charisma, magnetism, humor & that voice & it's easy to understand what all the fuss was about. And hey, guys loved him too! They were actually proud if their girlfriends or wives got a kiss from Elvis! It's funny. I was just a baby when he first got famous. By the 70's (his Vegas & touring years) I was a teenager who was into Zeppelin & all the big Rock bands of the day. Robert Plant was the one who kicked my hormones into gear. But I had grown up hearing Elvis's music & seeing his movies so when my parents & older sister went to see him I went too & was so glad I did. Saw him in Nashville & again a year later in Louisville. Every musician on that stage with him was top-notch. Elvis's rapport with them & especially with The Sweet Inspirations (his backup singers) was so much fun to watch. There were a lot of funny moments but also moments of great power & emotion. That's what his shows were like. Speaking of powerful moments, please react to "How Great Thou Art" 1972 version. Elvis loved to sing Gospel. And you especially need to see "American Trilogy" from the Aloha from Hawaii Special. It was the first program ever broadcast by satellite, telecast to 40 countries & watched by over a billion people, more people than watched the moon landing. And you don't have to be American to be moved by "American Trilogy" from that show. It was a highlight for the whole global audience. Hope you react to it. Much love from Kentucky U.S.💙☮

You need to start going down that rabbit hole of Elvis and do more. Since his videos are so short maybe you can do some back to back because he has 800 songs to go through. As far as this song you made me laugh again you looked in shock and it’s like your face froze!! 😂😂 Please do more Elvis 🎤🎸👑

Hey, Rory..have you been to see the new Elvis movie? If not, you should go while it's still in theaters. It definitely should be seen on the big screen & the music is great on those Dolby sound systems. Check out the Official trailers, both 1 & 2. They'll put you in the mood to go. You should go & then tell us what you think! A little review or just give us your opinion when you do another Elvis reaction.💙☮

@@Roryreacts That's great, I hope you do! It should be interesting for you, especially as you've done several Elvis reactions. I have a suggestion though. You've mostly done 70's Elvis & some of the '68 Comeback Special (which is great). But check out some of his early stuff from the 50's before you go like "That's Alright Mama"..."Blue Suede Shoes"...the original versions when he was young, with that Rockabilly sound. It'll give you more background to appreciate his story even more. You can see how his style developed & how his voice matured over the years. He was something special from the start. Looking forward to your opinion if you do go.💙☮

It's sad but Elvis had to start putting sticking plasters above his rings so certain so called fans couldn't slide them off his fingers ,you can visibly see them on stage in a lot of footage !His rings were designed by him and made by his own personal jeweler and cost thousands BUT when they were putting the plasters on for him before the show he would often say " not above that one " as he would slip a ring off and give it to a member of the Audience on the front row ,usually a Disabled person and then tell his Security Staff to see them home as the ring would be worth a fortune and the amazing thing is ,those that he gave rings to ,and there were many ,never sold them even though Elvis told them it was for a rainy day !A few have come on sale over the past few years as the recipient has passed away and their Families have sold them but those handed to them personally by Elvis would never part with them no matter how much they could have got for them !Now that's what you call a true fan !Somethings are worth much more than money !

Comment & suggestion: the same 7 or 8 or 10 songs are always requested; they are all great, i love all of them & view them almost every day, but there is another concert which in my opinion is a powerhouse w-voice perfection, & powerful --- that's 1972 Hampton Roads -- that hardly anyone suggests. So here goes (maybe you'll take a look): at the very start of this video at kzread.info/dash/bejne/foKospeAlJu3d6g.html Elvis calls out “Please Release Me” but the band begins playing “I Can’t Stop Loving You” but Elvis never stopped them or said a word, he just eased nicely into the song; a few seconds later you'll see him glance over w-a look of irritation & annoyance; he then slowly walks over to Charlie Hodge, picks up his glass of water & throws it at Glen @ piano, then smiles; this is the only version where we hear Elvis call out Please Release Me - other versions did not record that beginning & that makes a big difference - without that you can’t really appreciate what took place; 5 songs on 1 video at kzread.info/dash/bejne/a3V_tZioaKWdn7Q.html & notice stage floor at 3:10 & what Elvis does (w-his great sense of humor), includes "How Great Thou Art." Thanks.

I think it was Marty Lacker(not positive), one of the members of the Memphis Mafia that supposedly something along the lines that "Elvis got more ass than a toilet seat."...LOL. I would've happily been one of the women.

I do NOT like this kind of performance. This kind of performance is what led Elvis to become a caricature. I much prefer Elvis as he sings it live on The Ed Sullivan Show…it’s beautiful with a nice crowd reaction.
