Besides "Opening Night" from January 26 this is the earliest know recording to exist of Elvis' January/February Las Vegas season in 1972. He introduced many great songs just as "American Trilogy", "Never Been To Spain", "Big Hunk O'Love", and others for the first time live on stage.
This show was first released under the title "Aiming High" but with terrible sound. So I re-worked the recording as good as possible and was able to improve it a bit - but it still sounds bad and below average. The source is just too bad. I guess thats the best we can get out of it unless another source surfaces one day.
Anyway, it is a good and entertaining show, as long as you are able to ignore the poor recording quality. Priority has been given to the historical content.

This is a rare great show in Elvis’s winter Vegas engagement. Not the best quality but at least we still have it. Thanks for improving the sound.

My lord Jesus I was 7 years old at that time. There is one memory of the king of rock again and again i watch by the recordshop a picture of Separt way's album of that big music king on that auto bahn wouw what a guy that was this was in Lisse Holland at that time i had saw the blue Hawei movie and Speedway and Vive las vegas but did not no that this became a Vip of my life.until 1976 buying thats the way it is for my birthdaymony and separt way. And in 1977 march or april a super Album moody blue and then i new THIS IS THE KING And after16 Aug 1977 i say to my brohter :He Elvis died today ! And he say :that is bad luck, and i never saw my brohter alife again because on that night on 17 Aug 1977 my brohter died under a truck motorcycle accident and i never forget the pain and Elvis took me true that time Elvis and my brohter became one that year i always stayed a fan even later when i also lissen to Rush Kiss VanHalen Judas Priest Iron Maiden zappa Satriani Vai yes Vandeberg and lots more fantastic Bands ELVIS PRESLEY ALWAYS WAS EN IS THE KING OF ROCK AND ROLL TO ME and JESUS CHRIST THE UBER KING OF LIFE AND THE UNIVERSE AND MY MOST IMPORTENT CHOOSEN FAITH I THANK HIM FOR ELVIS ALSO AMEN PEACE IN THE VALLY!!!

YES 🥰 and Elvis insisted that this last record the moody blues album be cobalt blue 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙 and it may have been first colored record i not sur but they made a few black vinyls before they got the cobalt blue 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙 one's the way he wanted them and my one brother got the black one and kept it and the other brother RETURNED the black one because he was mad he didn't get the beautiful cobalt blue 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙 one

He put 'little darlin'' on there for me because I was just a California kid and he wanted to know what we thought about the different songs on that album because the song choices were very different and unusual and his last album was very important to him

Peace in the valley was his mamas favorite song so he liked to include that whenever possible

@@realpatriot4671 He never sang Peace In The Valley apart from on TV in the 50s, and in the studio. He did not perform in in the 70s.
Such a beautiful man
He is and was such a kind and thoughtful and tender hearted sentimental man. Very very strong and spiritual but also a big marshmellow inside

He even sent us a 'goodbye' tape to try and comfort us and let us know he knew he was going to be leaving and he'd meet up with us and me in heaven
