If Elvis is bad as you say, why do they study his voice in universities? Why did the opera singer Placido Domingo say Elvis was the voice he wish he had. What difference does it make if he wrote his songs? A lot of people didn't write their songs. Yes, Roy Orbison has a beautiful beautiful voice. He's the only other artist I listen to by Elvis. However, is there any one that had the same cultural impact as Elvis has anyone sold a billion records? He has been described as a lyrical baritone going form from bass baritone tennor in a single musical phrase . If he is so bad why considered one of greast voices of all time? I started listening to Elvis when I was14, 1958 in ninth grade. I am sitting here typing this just past my 80th birthday. Elvis is still by far the absolute best male voice I have ever heard. NOBODY has the range he has. I sing some Elvis covers just because I enyoy it and I am tolerable especially with the spiritual songs. My nickname at church is "Elvis". Hard to beat that compliment. Oftem while listening it is so beautiful that I get goose bumps and tears. (Oh, female you ask? Hands down Celine.)

I’m 69 and my older sister started me on Elvis when I was a baby.She got me a signed postcard sent from Elvis when I was 4.There is no singer that even comes close.My husband who passed away inv2023 loved his music too.I listen to his songs and they give me much comfort.
