@@brittneyking4284 too many, and many more I suppose will follow. I prefer searching videos like these to hear him talk and say things in his own words. It's so refreshing as if he's still alive. If only he had just 1 person in his life that truly loved him and to guide him. Everyone that was around him seemed to have been yes men and just liked the fame that they were part of being with him. Oh goodness and all these women too🙄🙄🙄 it's so sweet him talking about his first love and he wanted to marry her after she finished her schooling.

His cousin, Billy Smith with his wife Jo, have a You Tube channel called Elvis Fans Matter. Billy was nine years younger than Elvis and spent many, many years with Elvis both as a family member and as a member of the Memphis Mafia. They tell stories about their time with Elvis and answer questions that people send in. Billy and Jo’s older son, Danny Smith and his wife, have a You Tube channel called Memphis Mafia Kid. Both channels are extremely interesting to watch/ listen.

Hearing his voice as he speaks. Priceless. With his soft spoken voice when he spoke but the power of his voice when he sang, his looks, his personality, I wonder sometimes if he was actually an angel sent by God for us to see and hear. Who else could have touched all genres of music in people from rock, to Christmas, to Christian Hymns, to blues and Ballard's, to children's songs? And then show us the human side. Amazing. And the power of his voice in the song "Sylvia" as well as "How Great Thou Art" Who else has had that charisma and still does after 43 years. We're still fascinated and listening to that voice that no one else has ever equaled. The King.

This is as real as it gets. So many think that Elvis had it made. He worked so hard and traveled so much in cars, often sleeping in the back seat of a car so they could get to the next town for the next show, and even after he got really big he didn't let up. He still worked hard always trying to make things better. He was a perfectionist and I always wanted to excite snd please his fans. I really enjoyed this interview and his talking voice is so pleasant to listen to. I also love his sincere answers and I will always love Elvis. God only created one Elvis and there will never be anyone that can replace this great southern gentleman. R.i.p. Elvis, you will never be forgotten!

Brenda Booher Sure, he worked hard but one thing was very different for him than other artists who worked hard and eventually made it big: he became hugely successful by the time he was only 21. He had to have his parent’s signature when he signed on with Parker. He made it big after a relatively short time.

On nights I have a difficult time falling to sleep, with nothing online entertaining I always refer back to this, there’s just something different about Elvis’s voice idk, that’s just smooth and relaxing. I try and imagine where this was recorded and what the room looked like, what Elvis was wearing type of clothes, what car he had outside, lots of questions but only one answer which is the more we search the more we will know. Anyone who has ever met him had said there was just something about Elvis that they couldn’t say of but was unique in a very special way and even on a recorded tape 50 years in time he still can reach us in the same way he had back then, thanks for your time and hope I could reflect a memory of Elvis,,, thanks

Yeah, that greedy A-hole. You know Elvis never change his original agreement with Parker. He could have but he gave him so much credit. Then he got Elvis hooked on drugs in Germany to control him. Elvis deserved so much more. Happiness for one thing….forcing him to marry Priscilla was right for either one of them. That is why I will never understand her parents sending her over to him for all of those years. He was 10 years older than she was. Of course she gave him Lisa Marie and I am sure she was the love of his life.

I have a granddaughter that is thirteen and she listened to Elvis at my home then turned her friend on to Elvis. I read an article last year after Baz Lerhman movie came out that Presley’s music is more popular than it has ever been.

He cared! That is what made him so special! Elvis was reflective and considerate. His star quality springs from a sincerity and authenticity that is lacking in 99% of other musicians. A poor performance troubled him enough to stay up all night to make changes to his repertoire to avoid another less than perfect show. His standards were high! He loved his fans and we are still reciprocating with gusto in 2022.

We know all about the sycophants that surrounded Elvis, they have put themselves out there for years after he passed. But what I love about Elvis is that he searched through all the faiths of the world yet he died with a copy of a book on the Holy shroud of Turin in his hands. He never lost his love of God nor his gospel roots, surrounding himself creatively with the "Best Gospel Choirs", in the world makes me smile. One of the last songs he ever sang on the piano in Graceland was gospel along with Unchaned Melody, I feel comforted knowing, that although we all feel he went too soon, he was in his spiritual heart, and ready for his passing. I pondered and wondered about that for a long time, but now I know it to be true. We know all the public faces of Elvis, he gave so much of himself, and he burnt brightly for the short time he was here. But we hear almost nothing about what truly drove the man, and from what I have come to understand over the years, it was always his love and selfless devotion for others. He truly never lost sight of that, it kept him humble and was why he was so generous of self and with his money. If only we all got that gift. I still miss him, and I hope I get to see him again one day. Perhaps he is singing over that rainbow bridge somewhere ??? . One thing is for certain though, he earned his right to rest and to be at peace, surrounded by that which he gave so freely...... and that somehow makes the loss a little less sad.

Many singers and actors swear so much when it is unnecessary but Elvis so polite and a gentleman spoke well always. That was part of his charisma. So funny about that guy that slept through Elvis's performance at the front table and then got up when Elvis sang Dixie and then sat back down when the next song started and he did it again on some songs. That must have made Elvis laugh loads afterwards. It made me laugh so that I had to hear that bit at the end of this video again.
