Is it just me or does this time now seem like another world? I remember the carefree 70s and feel sorry for the kids today - they will never know Elvis and that era before all the in-your-face greed of politicians and billionaires we have now. It would be useful if one of these greedy rich could invent a time machine, so we could all go back and leave them to do their worst with the world today.

It was a much better world back then and even though economically things were a bit tight, it was a great time for raising families. You didn't have to worry about you kids getting shot or overdosing on drugs! It was so much more wholesome. Now I worry about my grands and great grands. People are so mean today, we even have to worry about ourselves as well. As I'm writing this, there's another school shooting in St Louis this time. As much as I enjoy the internet, the dark wet is really awful!

No other talent, like him or ever will be. So tragic, to lose an icon, with real raw talent, a one of a kind. 20/21 all these years later! And still we cherish, this absolute genious, today's so called talent? No voice without technology?? I wonder if they wonder? About real Voice of a genious??

Elvis gave one of the snowmobiles to a policeman that was the Dever Mafia as they were called.(they were police officers that worked security for Elvis when he would visit or do a concert in Colorado) He still has it and keeps it shined up like brand-new,and has never used it but treasured it. He also still has the real police uniform Elvis wore when he attended the funeral of a police officer.

Hey Victor, yes it's sad Jo passed away, part of the king's life. my heart is heavy knowing his daughter Lisa Marie, never acknowledges his cousin Billy, wife Jo and their sons?? It is part of her father's family that knew him so well? Who cared and loved her, yet she makes no acknowledgement to her loving father's family?? Is this a privileged thing, does she not realize her daddy worked his way up from poor?? Lisa, my darling, put some glasses on??

A legond, never again to ever be another!! I just wish his daughter would connect with her father's family? It could give her so much insight into, how her father's path, and raw talent got him to be the king. Lisa, connect with your daddy's cousin Billy, and wife Jo.. learn about your father's route's?? His love of family, and the their real family stories of the love he had for you? The saddest part of Elvis to me is, his daughter, knows nothing of her father's rise from nothing, to a legend. Only his gains, of nothing, to beyond everything. To whom you choose to ignore??

Wow, didn't know this was out there after Graceland took legal action to shelve it. I did the music for this after he couldn't get rights to use any of Elvis' music. Joe lived here in L.A. (Sherman Oaks) and I got to hang out with him for a week while working on it. Really great guy, very funny. He paid for lunch and dinner for me and the director most of those days at some pretty pricey restaurants.

Except that he related a quite negative private incident on video which he should have kept to himself -- why reveal negative 'behind closed doors" information about a best friend, someone you cared about which you know is going to be public; Priscilla did the same thing -- she should have kept her mouth closed.

However, I'm kind of glad that he didn't have to see the massive downfall of his beloved Memphis. It's now considered one of the most dangerous areas in the entire country. The area around Graceland had gotten really bad crime wise 😢

Going to all those places back then and just enjoying themselves. Joe must have had many wonderful life experiences, even when he met Elvis in the Army, having drafted at the same time. What i see in many videos posted back then IS MEN enjoyed their own company. MEN SHOWED THEIR MASCULINITY in abounds and WOMEN would enjoy their own company and THEY SHOWED THEIR FEMININTY in abounds Although i was a child in the 60's i love the decade today for many reasons.

With Elvis great sense of humor he would've made great comedy movies! I'd also would've loved to have seen him in good dramatic roles. Alot of the established actors said he could've been a great actor if they'd given him the chance. That's where poor management came in, with Parker's short sightedness and greed! If he'd done the right thing with Elvis there was more money that would've been made. At that point is when Elvis should've changed managers and hired an accountant to keep up with the spending. Elvis could've had a movie career and his music too. He would've been happy and wouldn't have died into drugs to cover his disappointment. In turn he may have lived longer, because the studios would've made sure he got proper care.
