Elvis's fans had no chance, they were totally enamored. He could sing the hotel menu, would not have made any difference. His power his presence on stage were and still are unchallenged by any artist, current or historic. He was just a one off. The mold that made Elvis was never used before or since. I live in Las Vegas and i can tell you that even after his death. Elvis Presley still makes money for this city. Every casino and club has some form of Elvis show. Whether it be an impersonator or something. And there could not be any impersonator if there wasn't someone worth impersonating.

What Elvis did was real work. Marketing, branding his image, selling it to the public, then Elvis constantly working on his music, his stage presence, keeping in shape, eating habits. Sad to realize seeing that Hawaii concert that the man would be dead 4 years later. He lived 10 lifetimes and ultimately paid the price.

Me too. No matter what's going on, when I hear that song I immediately begin to feel thankful and in such awe of a God who would robe himself in flesh and come to live among us... then ultimately take our place so that we could have forgiveness. Jesus did all that for each one of us and that great love and mercy is what I think about when I hear How Great Thou Art. That a king would leave his throne to come live and die for us. What great love.

Last week i decided to see a video with Elvis..in my 48 years old for first time!....I never really cared to see/watch a video with him before . And from this time i am obsessed! In every video it so hard for me to see what or who is around him. He is like a magnent for my eyes! NOW i understand his fame. He had it ALL! He had an unbelievable sexual charm and his music is AWSOME! I listened his music from other singers before, but listening from him it was/is a heavenly package! All from him ARE SO BEAUTIFUL!

Been an Elvis fan just about 60 of my 69 years. He was a performer that did not need gimmicks or dancers and performers to back him. Him, his musicians and backing singers were all he need to keep his audience captivated. Today's music is a far cry from what we were lucky to experience. Hope his legacy goes on for many years.

What an amazing man he was !!! We lost a true legend that fateful august day the world grew a little quitter and lonely when his journey here was over no one will ever be as naturally talented as he was I could only imagine what it was like to have been within his circle and his presence I’m sure it was a once in a lifetime experience what a legacy he left behind for all his many fans spanning generations his music was just as unique and amazing as he was sad that he left the world far too soon however he and his music lives on through the memories he left for his family and fans to cherish till eternity may he rest in heavenly peace

I find myself biting my hand with the excitement that comes across the screen watching Elvis. His performance is so electric. I can’t even imagine being there! I might just have died..

I love how he incorporated karate moves into his dancing 🕺

I love to hear ELVIS ♥️ sing! I love his voice. I love to watch the expression on his face...it shows his deep, genuine, spiritual feelings from his heart & his soul. He was so gifted, and such a blessing to all who love him. I love all his music, but his Gospel is my favorite. The last song "How Great Thou Art" is my favorite!!! So heartfelt, touched my soul! Amen!
