They have studio recordings of this song in English, Swiss German, Italian, French, and Romansh, When I see them live with Fabienne singing last year they offered up and the crowd choose Swiss German so that's what we hard, amazing show

@@ChrisPage68 I have to admit that I like its sound. Anna might have been inspired by Amalie Bruun from Myrkur, who can play this instrument, but I don´t know whether you are aware of this band or not. Amalie is the vocalist and another multi-instrumentalist.

The drummer's name is Merlin Sutter. Not only is he cool, I met him at a gig and he graciously signed a cymbal for me after the show! Sadly he, and the guitarist Ivo Henzi and this singer Anna Murphy all left this band together, but they formed a new band called Cellar Darling, which is also terrific! Chrigel is the male lead vocalist and founder. He also plays mandola, whistles, and bagpipes and obviously the harp. He is amazing! This video is older than Rebirth, which features a bunch of equally talent new members. Thank you for reacting to this truly amazing, one of a kind band!

Anna Murphy (Singer), Ivo Henzi (Guitar) and Merlin Sutter (Drums) have a new band, Cellar Darling you should react to it. On the albums Ivo is playing guitars and bass. Live they have a touring musician play bass. Anna Murphy plays Flute, Hurdy-Gurdy and keys on the album. They have a touring musician play keyboards when they perform live. I would recommend Death live at KZread Space London by Cellar Darling.

Cellar Darling is fantastic, while I do miss Anna in Eluveitie, Fabienne does so well to fill the void so now we get two epic bands.

They're from Switzerland, Anna Murphy (female singer/hurdy-gurdy/flute), Merlin Sutter (drummer), and Ivo Henzi (guitarist) longtime Eluveitie members left in 2016 to form a new band called Cellar Darling. Should check out Death by them.

The opening to this song is my ringtone. Everytime I listen to it, or someone reacting to it, I reach for my phone. I'm not a smart man.

I once in college put this song in to PES2013 main menu soundtrack, my mates went nut and they be download it right away. The feeling of finding a gold music before anyone in my convo and they acknowledge it, is such a joy feeling.

I dont miss Anna with Eluveitie, therefor I can listen to Cellar Darling. I love Fabienne and her voice, she always gives me full body chills and even has the power to make me tear up like Floor Jansen, Amira Willighagen and Simone Simons also can!

Thousandfold also by Eluveitie will lift you up,- a dance song with bagpipes, hurdy gurdy, violin and tin whistles,- ...oh yeah...,- and a metal band! :) Awesome song.

Great band !

I don't know why, but listening to children sing and hear their emotions is amazing. Maybe because I will become a step father soon. And I love my children. Hearing the emotions in their singing is beautiful.

Love this song and Love Anna Murphy! I've see this lineup of Eluveitie and the current lineup of Eluveitie live. Both were awesome shows but Anna Murphy is my girl. 😁 Fun fact, when Anna left, it took two to replace her. They got a new singer and a new Hurdy Gurdy player. Anna does both but they couldn't seem to find someone else that could do the same. 😁

Met the band before the lineup changes. They were so nice.

so damn catchy... and they recorded it in I dont even know how many languages... the universal appeal is amazing... the song has millions of hits, Anna Murphy is the best female singer I have ever heard outside of Tori.. and her solo album proves that.. she is insanely good and was not the lead singer of eluvitie, but she was so young and grew up touring with them... and it so reflects how amazing she is now.

Eluveitie has shuffled members a lot since Anna, Ivo, and Henzi are gone from the band. The sound is different, but still as good. Kriegel is really the only permanent member.

Fabienne, their current singer (and harp player, IIRC) has more range than Anna, and is outright terrific on the newer stuff, but Anna has such a unique voice, style pitch, etc, that some songs like this, I just can't enjoy when sung by anyone else.
