Showtime, Storytime is amazing. When they played “Ghost Love Score” and at the end when Floor hits the note at the end, that’s when (imo) the world agreed that she was the new lead singer for Nightwish.

Jack Sparrow, a Valkyrie, a Viking, a drum god, a bard, and Lucius Malfoy joining for an epic song. I love this

this is a very important video in the Nightwish history because................it marks the longest time that Emppu has ever sat down in any given song!!! Good boy Emppu!!!

The video's for their new album (Human Nature) are all lyric video's. Also a must see: Endlessness(you have already see this one), Pan, Shoemaker, Noise etc. etc. 😁👍

In case you're wondering why Emppu doesn't have his signature purple guitar, when they went to the US to film these videos for EFMB he actually forgot it at home. He had to go to a local music store and purchase a guitar to use for the filming.

And to the 'live only' gang. Open your mind a bit. The recorded stuff has something different to love too. And don't forget they haven't performed a lot of equally epic music. You are missing out. For every live song there is a recorded gem. Who wouldn't love twice as much Nightwish? I like the live but hey, this is awesome too.

I recognize a lot of oldschool nightwish fans and they probably know what they talk about. Great bands are best live, so you cant blame them to promote the best material from their favorite artist. Beside that, they should still check these versions since the recordings have some great value too...

Their best official video for me is Noise. The visuals help to unfold the lyrics. And it's one of the best critiques of our time I've seen and heard in long time. Next is maybe Amaranth, then there are many others which are very good, though live ones are usually the best. Their Walking in the Air cover I like to watch as a fan made vidoe with clips from the Hobbit trilogy. Really feels like flying.

@@fixxa6455 The blonde girl plays the same game as the other social media 'vain avatars'. So she fit in the video concept like a glove. But of course criticizing body exposure by body expose is... not really a solution. Damage is done, even if you call it 'educational'. But at least there was the beauty parlor mayhem. Could maybe have put some rage fit in some cosmetics shop, or an allergic reaction or alike. They said she's a real model, so this goes to her real work anyway, don't know what's the difference - and it's not interesting enough I would find it out.

@@fixxa6455 Would be better. They mean good with it - but it's double edged to show erotic pictures to criticize unhealthy beauty models. The picture syill mediates the ideal under critique. The same problem is in showing violence. I think that works best by showing only a bit of the actual violence, and that only after people have created affection towards the protagonist. Then after the violence the consequences it has to the beloved person.

Okay, so to answer one or two responses and explain a little about why I chose the video version of this song I have to explain a little about myself. First off, I know Nightwish is almost always better live but as a 23 year veteran Nightwish fan I can say that this isn't always true and of course this is a matter of opinion. I am a Disc Jockey, sound engineer and remixer of 24 years so when I listen to music or watch music videos I am not just listening to the lyrics or trying to understand the message the video is trying to convey. There is much more to it for me. I like to pick it apart and really dive in to it. I enjoy the lyrics, the atmosphere, stage wardrobe, special effects, stage presence and crowd interaction just as anyone would but I also enjoy the production aspect of it as well. Things most people don't really pay attention to such as the quality of the mixing, equalization, reverb, resonance, type of equipment used, backing tracks etc. This is all true for any live performance but I also enjoy the video production aspect as well. Things like the makeup, wardrobe, the set, the rolls of the members, the acting and portrayal, the quality of the video, quality of sound and then also looking at the key differences between the live sound and the studio produced sound. I could go on but I don't want to bore you all with the things that I personally enjoy. Obviously I have different reasons for certain things and most people just love the raw music which is to be expected especially with Nightwish. Back when Floor was just starting out with After Forever (1997), the technology we have today didn't exist as far as production and sound go. So being able to take some of those classic tracks and listen to them against today's technology is very interesting to me. It's hard to believe how far the industry has come and those key differences are the reason I do what I do. For all of those who took the time to read this, Thank You very much and I hope this better explains why I sometimes choose the official video over the live performance. Nothing against Nightwish as they are still to this day my favorite band of all time! Peace and love to all! And Wolf HunterZ...you rock as well! Thanks for doing what you do! Your reaction videos are right on point and rank as some of the best I've seen.

yo, i greatly approve of the selection of the music video over the live performance for one very specific reason. when they perform this live, Floor leaves the stage during the music break after the second verse. here, we are treated to the awesome spectacle of Floor's dancing. 'Nuff said.

Live version please. So much better. Especially now.

The message behind the song and video is a criticism of the addiction of things that we have created from social media, technology and politics, to oil, beauty, fashion and even medicine. It's all of the things that we take for granted.

First of all: Did anyone else notice, that Empuu was sitting the whole vid through? Was it to avoid people to realize the height difference to Floor? And since EFMB their lyrics really have become very nerdy and geeky. I really appreciate that!

Dont forget that endless forms most beautiful was Troy Donockley's very first official tour as an member. If you watch the Elan music video by Nightwish, Troy Donockley is there playing the flute. Also, Kai Hahto was supposed to be sessional drummer, because at the time Jukka Nevalainen was still a drummer for the band, and he was away for the recording of this album because of insomnia...Jukka's final tour with Nightwish was 2019, when he left the band. Kai became the official drummer after that.

Ohh loved all your reactions! Knowing that you love Marco's vocals, and that you have done poet and the pendulum, as a part of that story, they have a song "master passion greed", that goes deeper on how Tuomas felt about Tarja's manager/husband. Marco on vocals! And probably the heaviest song from them. There is no live performance of this sadly, only the album version. But this song deserves more attention and more reactions for sure!

this was probably one of the first videos of Nightwish. so even if it is considered a lyric video i still say it was my first official music video. plus i really love that steam punk background. i guess that signifies the gears of the world and universe.

Going into NW music videos? Why not? An older one with Tarja well worth watching is "Wish I had an Angel" but make sure to get the one from the Nightwish channel. Then there are lots of great fan made videos from "Sagan". Totally underrated song because it was only published on a "B"-side of the EFMB album. And of course, there are all the mind blowing new official videos from the Human :||: Nature album. You should do those in order, starting with "Music".

Nightwish official music videos of note, for me, are The Islander, Amaranth, Elan, and Noise. That is, if you guys go the the studio route. Nightwish sound better live, though, but these music videos are great.

Looking at the words again, I'm think just how much "Human :||: Nature" is a continuation of "Endless Forms Most Beautiful"... and are we ever lucky...

I you wanna wander into official (lyric) videos you can concentrate on their newest album Human Nature of which no live versions exist yet. Cause these videos are really cool! 😊

As a biology major this song has a special place in my heart. I was actually hadn't picked out a major but was getting my associates when this album came out and cinched the deal for me lol.

Live versions take precedence with Nightwish. Their stage energy just blows the studio versions away. Tarja and Anette Era studio videos to watch include Nemo, The Islander, and Bye Bye Beautiful. Also, outside of Elan and Noise, most studio videos in the Floor Era are lyric videos. Every song but Noise from Human||Nature has a lyric video: Music, Shoemaker, Harvest, Pan, How's The Heart, Procession, Tribal, Endlessness, Ad Astra...

Nice reaction but I never catch the MV from this band so a nice change of pace. LIVE is the only way to truly appreciate the emotional impact that the band brings to each and every song.

First album with Floor and 'her own' songs, loved it immediately, though I still needed to get more used to Kai's more technical style. After this I got to appreciate and love his drumming. Again on most older songs, still prefer Jukka🤘

In my opinion, apart from beig a great song, love the guitar riff, love Floor's vocals and the lyrics... Floor is stunning here, gorgeous. When she says the word Tiiktaalik she does something with her head that makes my knees tremble. Thanks for the reaction.

Try some older official videos, like Amaranth or I wish I had an Angel, and sleeping sun.

Check Elan music video. It's really nice. There is famous finnish old actors with in. It's a cakebration to them!

Nah, when it comes to Nightwish...especially a reaction video, gott'a be live y'all. A studio recording can't quite capture the band in it's full glory, really sounds too diluting for a epic band like Nightwish, doesn't do them justice.

Fake, Kai doesn't sweat like a pig.
